November Friends

Hello Frends!

Whew, it seems as if I haven't been here in ages!  I certainly didn't mean it to be that way.  My work, etc. gets in the way of my card making.  Anyways, I had a great time relaxing and creating this card last evening for the The Shabby Tea Room challenge.  It's a card for my sis-in-law.  Her birthday is in November just one day before mine.  And, this year her birthday is on 11-11-11.  I think she needs to play the lottery on that day!:-)  My birthstone, Topaz was not one that I cared for when growing up.  But, I do like the color yellow.  I find myself making several cards using that lovely color.  I really enjoyed this challenge this week because it gave me an opportunity to see each other's birthdays in the gallery...so fun!  Take care and have a great holiday weekend!  Thanks so much for visiting here today!!:-))

  5. What a beautiful card, Maria! Love the soft and feminine look. Those flowers are fabulous. Love the gems and the hanging tag, too. My birthday is in November, too. And I was the same way growing up....didn't really care for our birthstone color. Now I just adore it. So funny how that works. :)

  7. What a lovely, feminine card for your SIL. It's cool that her birthday is 11-11-11! I agree she should play the lottery. :) And don't you hate when life gets in the way of cardmaking?? ;) LOL Glad to see you here!
