Merry Christmas!

Hi there!

A Happy Thanksgiving to you all!  Seems a bit odd to post a Christmas card on Thanksgiving Day, but as you know in the crafting world one must work way ahead before the season!:-)  A friend of mine gave me this Christmas stamp, so I inked it up quick and made this card.  This is one card that would be easy to mass produce.  I made an adjustment to the holly leaves and cut those out after several attempts.:-)   They were outlined in white gel ink and brightened up with glossy accents.  Gems and a ribbon were addded for the final touches.

How are the Thanksgiving preparations going for you?  I made my cranberry salad last evening and will make some baked slice apples soon before going to sis-in-law's today.  Mmmm i can harldy wait to dive into some turkey, stuffing, etc. etc.!:-)  I wish for you a wonderful Thanksgiving surrounded with love and good blessings!  Take care and hugs!!:-))

Thanks so much for stopping by!

  3. What a beautiful card, the patterned paper is the perfect choice. We didn't do a traditional meal this year, but I did have to prep some potatoes! That is always so pokey!

  7. I just about panic when I think about using a plaid or strip on a card--I almost always cut it crooked. ;) Fab job on this card. I love the sentiment stamp and the rounded corners on those layers. Nice holiday colors, too. ~Hugs, Cheryl
