Love

The card design to follow for

Hi Friends!

Did you all have a wonderful holiday?  I certainly hope so.  We had a great time here with delicious food and family.  Whenever the food turns out well, especially the gravy, I breathe a big sigh of relief!  Anyways, Santa was very good to me this year with a few craft goodies, music, and jewelry.  I even got two gift certificates to Jo-Ann Fabrics.  I guess friends and family know what I like!:-)

Ok, on to my card.  I thought it would be an easy card to do.  And, it was until I decided to sew around the edge of the oval.  Well, needless to say, I need more practice doing it!  But, I'm glad I tried anyways.  Nothing ventured nothing gained.

I hope you have a wonderful week!  Have a safe and happy New Year!  Thanks so much for stopping by today, take care!

  3. Very pretty, Maria. And, your stitching is wonderful. My sis gave me a Janome and I need to practice on it but I never have time. How pathetic is that???? :-) I really want to stitch on my cards but I just can't yet. Time, I need lots of time...don't we all?

  4. Sounds like you had a fun holiday! I had to chuckle about your comment about the gravy. In my house it was always the dinner rolls that seemed to cause worry. From undercooking to burned, they became (and still are) a big family joke. Your card is beautiful! I love the stitching and the layered bows. Very pretty!
