Happy Fall!

Hi there!

Happy fall to you!  We are enjoying some super
lovely fall weather here in NW Ohio!  It is definitely
Indian summer.  It was in the 70's here today with
bright shiny sunshine...love it!  We won't have many
more of these perfect days.  So, we enjoyed a walk
in our favorite walking area.  It is the place where
Rutherford B. Hayes resided many years go.  He
was the 19th president.  It is a quiet peaceful area
to walk and enjoy nature.  Little squirrels run about
in search of nuts.  They are busy gathering many
acorns that have dropped from the trees. You will
see in a photo below where a friendly squirrel took
time out to be playful and pose for us...too cute!
Anyways, I hope you are enjoying your week
wherever you are!  Thanks for dropping by today!

Happy trails to you!  Take care, hugs!

Boo!

Hi there!

Halloween will soon be here!  Are you ready
for all the little goblins to make a visit?  I
decorated this little witch's hat the other night
for some hauntingly good fun...bwahahaha!
Anyways, it was very easy with applying
the embossed Bazzill paper, accents from
K&Company, and ribbon and button from
Jo-Ann Fabrics.

Thanks so much for dropping by today!
Take care and have a wonderful week, hugs!

Hope...

Hi Friends!

The month of October is just flying by!  Is it for
you too?  Being that the month of October is
Breast Awareness month I thought I'd make a
card and enter a challenge over at CR84FN.
Have you gotten your mammogram this year?
Mine is scheduled for 10-24-12.  I just saw
my gynecologist last week.  I knew one day
that it was coming, but didn't want to face it.
He told me that he is retiring next July.  I've
gone to him for twenty years.  He is my
favorite doctor of all doctors.  Just a sweet
caring doctor.  But, he deserves a wonderful
retirement filled with fun and relaxation!

Ok, on to my card now.  I used several die
cuts on this card.  I did some gold embossing
on the butterfly and label.  The large label
background was stamped with text in re-
gards to breast cancer.  Tiny pearls, gem
flourish, felt hearts, and lace for interest.
Seam binding ribbon with felt butterfly, twine,
and small tag stamped with the word, "hope".

I so hope for a cure for breast cancer one day!
I'm sure we all know someone who has been
affected.  My thoughts and prayers go out to
those who are suffering from any type of
cancer.

Please stop over at CR84FN Color Challenge
to view the lovely DT inspiration and join in
on the fun!  Thanks so much for dropping
by today!  Take care and have a wonderful
week, hugs!

Boo!

Hi Friends!

How are you?  Hope all is well in your little corner
of the world!  I decided to make another Halloween
card last evening.  It was so good to be indoors after
spending some time outdoors at a car show in the
cold windy weather...brrrr.  The hot chocolate warmed
us up a tad.  But, the car show was for a good cause,
Make A Wish.  My co-worker's husband had two cars
in the show.  He had a Chevy Impala, which was a
convertible,  and a Nash.  I don't even know what year
they were...silly me!  Anyways, my husband wanted
to hurry home to watch the Ohio State football game.
So, I crafted and watched the game yesterday evening.
And, I must say that Ohio State played very well...GO
BUCKS!

This card was fairly simple to make.  The
little banner is from K&Company.  I added little
brads for the eyes on the ghosts for dimension.  Little
spiders for interest.  And, I love the background paper
with the embossed spider webs!  Ribbon and senti-
ment to finish off the card.  Ok, that's all for now.
Thanks for visiting here today!  Take care, hugs!

Happy Halloween!

Hi there!

TGIF!  How are you all doing on this fine Friday
afternoon?  Hope all is well with you!  I want to
share with you a card I made for The Shabby Tea Room.
I couldn't resist this challenge with the super fun
challenge photo and sketch for inspiration as seen
below...

For my card I got out some Martha Stewart paper.
Those crows and pumpkins in the inspiration photo
are awesome!  Lovely leaf decorations, too!  Anyways,
I scored the white background at 1/2 inches to look
like the siding on the house, but one really cannot see
that I did that...oh well!  This card was fairly easy to
put together yesterday evening.  And, another
Halloween card is finished.  Now, for my Christmas
cards that's another story...hehehe!  I thank you for
dropping by today!  Take care, hugs!
