New Baby!

Hi there!

How are you doing on this fine Saturday?  We have
a lovely sunny day here in NW Ohio.  And, how are
you doing on your Easter preparations?  We take
the easy way out on Easter and go to our usual
place for a delicious ham/chicken dinner.
Whatever you have planned for Easter I hope
you have a wonderful blessed one!

I thought I'd share with you this baby card I made
for my niece.  She is due with a baby boy in May.
The baby shower is in a couple of weeks.  His
name will be Alaric.  They asked us to buy
a book with a message instead of signing a card,
but no card...huh??  Well, I just had to make a
card...lol!  I will be buying a book and write
a message in it, too!:-)

I started with a light blue card base.  The baby
text is acetate placed over the tag.  Sweet little
beads for his name was strung on pearl cotton.
Little flowers were stamped and punched.
Ribbon and gems to finish the card.

I thank you so much for dropping by!  Take care, hugs!
Happy Easter!!!

  1. No card??? Of course, them's fightin' words to a card maker! LOL

This is darling, Maria. I like how you spelled out his (unusual) name with the little beads, and draped it over the baby tag. It almost reminds me of a bib!

Happy Easter to you and your family. Hugs!!

  8. Maria, your baby card is darling. I love the name spelled out with the beads. I'm sure your niece will appreciate getting a card, too.

I had an emergency trip out of state on Easter so I'm playing catch up on visiting blogs.
