Visions of Sugarplums...

Hi there!

How's your Monday going so far?  It's very chilly here in NW Ohio.  In fact, I do believe it's freezing!  No snow yet that can be seen.  I think that system went to the east coast.  I hear it's even cold in Texas...brrr!  Anyways, I stayed in the warm house today and did some cleaning and card making.  The cleaning part wasn't fun, but the card making was very enjoyable!:-)  This card above has some wonderful stamps from Paper Sweeties.  Those CUTE little gingerbreads, candy cane, and sentiment are from the stamp set Ho Ho Ho.  And, this darling set was released last month.  I'm entering this card over at Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge.

Here is the sketch we were to follow...

I started with a white card base and paired it with Bazzill(Nordic Pines).  The gingerbreads and candy cane were colored with a copic marker.  They were die cut with Ho Ho Ho Sweet Cuts.  For the final touch I added brads for interest.  This card was very easy to make and I really like the design.  I may use this again for more Christmas cards.  Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Take care, hugs!

  1. Maria, this is just adorable. I love the gingerbread people and the word "freezin" is certainly appropriate today.

We had sleet this morning in the deep South but it has turned to rain and we may see a few flakes tomorrow or tomorrow night...mostly rain, though.

  3. What a pretty card, Maria! So sweet! It is very cold here; however, with more moderate temperatures tomorrow, I think we are in for a rain event tomorrow night. Wish it was snow!
