Happy Birthday!

Hi there!

Are you having a great weekend?  I certainly hope that you are!  I just want to share with you a birthday card that I made for my great nephew.  I'm entering it over at Word Art Wednesday

Also, I'd like to share a photo of the concert we went to last night seeing LadyA!  It was loads of fun!  Ok...here is a photo...

I especially wanted to show this photo because they brought up a sweet little girl from the audience and let her sing part of the song.  A future singer...yeah!  It was such a wonderful show I truly enjoyed it!

Ok...onto my card now.  I started with a cream colored card base and layered with some wonderful Simple Stories(Smarty Pants) paper.  I took the negative from the 3 die and applied glossy accents and placed it in the right hand corner.  The star was cut using my cricut machine.  Candy dots were placed on the card.  Twine tied over the punched border.  I wanted the number 3 to stand out on the numbered paper, so I colored in the circles with a yellow colored pencil to finish off the card.  And, there you have it another birthday done to go out in the mail.

Thanks so much for taking the time to visit today!  It's appreciated!  Have a wonderful week, hugs!
