Kiss Me...

Hi there!

Just popping in to share with you another Valentine card I made for my husband.  I bought a new Darice embossing folder with all the fun hearts!  Many times I would make Valentine sugar cookies and place those candy hearts in the center.  Isn't it fun reading all those candy hearts?

For my card, I started with a white card base and added a border with Doodlebug paper.   I got out my neglected chalk and applied it over all the hearts.  I cut out one heart and colored it with copics and popped it up for dimension, which reads...kiss me.

Well, that's all for now.  I hope you are staying warm wherever you are.  We are due for snow today.  But, not too much... 2-4 inches.  Staying inside today making cards sounds like a good time to me!  Take care and thanks so much for dropping by!

Hugs,
Maria

  3. Maria, you are so clever! At first glance from the thumbnail size, I thought you had used conversation heart paper. :o) What a marvelous idea to chalk the embossing for a sweet rainbow of color! I love the dimension and color you gave to the focal point heart. :o) Such a beautiful idea and flawlessly executed! He will love it. :o) Stay toasty and have a wonderful night, my friend!

    Hugs and blessings,
    Karen
