MFT Sketch Challenge -217

Hi there!

Happy Wednesday to you!  I'm just popping in quick with a card I made for the challenge over at MFT for their Sketch Challenge.  I just love their little PI images and colored the sweet little gal with bunny ears.  And, here she is all dressed and ready for Easter...

I started with MFT Natural card stock.  The glittery strips of paper from DCWV were die cut using MFT sentiment strip dies.  I stamped the MFT (PI-I'm All Ears) image and colored her with copics.  Her dress was paper pieced using Basic Grey paper.  For the final touch, I added a tiny pink button with silver thread.  Easy peasy with one Easter card done!    Here is one more view...

Thank so much for visiting here today!  It's appreciated!  And, I hope you are staying safe and warm.  Take care!

Hugs,
Maria

Lil' Inkers Monthly Meet Up

Hi, Friends!

How's it going?  I hope all is well your way!  Lil' Inkers is having their very first Monthly Meet Up Challenge!  Lots of wonderful prizes up for grabs...how fun!  I got out those awesome stitched dies and went to work!

I started with a white card base and added three panels of the stitched rectangles.  The stitched hearts were used to make a shamrock.  The arrow in the set was cut off to make the stem.  And, the final stitched oval die for the gold piece.  Washi tape and metal dot to finish the card.  Super easy card, but I have a St. Patrick's card done...yeah!  Thanks so much for taking a peek at my card today!  Hope you're having a great weekend!  Take care!

Hugs,
Maria

Celebrate...Dream...

Hi there!

I'm back with a vintage style card.  I'm entering this card over at one of my favorite challenges City Crafter!  The theme is to have metal on your project.  So, I thought...hmmm...surely I must have something metal with all these crafts supplies!:-)  I got to work and came up with this card...

Another view...

The metal on my card are the buttons and clip from SU and the pins from Maya Road.  The card came together fairly quickly yesterday evening.  In fact, my husband told me that he hopes that I finish it before our favorite show comes on, which is Modern Family.  And, I finished it right on time!:-)  Anyways, it felt great making a vintage card again!  All supplies can be seen below!  Thanks so much for visiting here today!  Please stay warm and safe...take care!

Hugs,
Maria

Hi Friends!

How are you on this Wednesday afternoon?  Is it still cold where you are?  It is 14 degrees here in NW Ohio with a wind chill advisary, but at least the sun is shining...yeah!

The card is pretty self-explanatory.  I used several dies from MFT.  And, the stamp is from MFT, also.  Thanks so much for taking a peek at my card today!  Take care and have a wonderful day!

Paper Sweeties February Release Rewind!

Hello there!

Welcome to Release Rewind for Paper Sweeties!  Today we combine *new* with previous released stamp sets/dies.  I decided to do another watercolor background for my card.  I used Tim Holtz distress inks, mustard seed, spiced marmalade, and fired brick after I embossed the flowers using Zing embossing powder.  Maybe I'm in a spring mood, but I just love the new flowers Debbie has designed from the set Pretty Posies!  The other flower that I used, which is the lovely rose at the top second from the left, is from a previously released set Party Time.  The sentiment is from the set Occasions.  The pretty banner die is from the set Sweet Cuts-Be Happy.  And, the sequins(Creamsicle) are from Paper Sweeties, too!  I had lots of fun making this card, and I think the flowered background could be used for most any card!

You'll want to follow along with the blog list below to see what wonderful projects my teammates created!

Scatter Sunshine!

Hi there!

It's been nearly a week since I've been here, but I have been busy at my craft table working on projects.  You will see a few more at the end of the week, so stay tuned!:-)
Today, I want to share with you a card I made for PTI.  They are celebrating their 8th anniversary!  I do love PTI products, don't you?

Last summer I received the sparkle and shine kit.  And, I'm just now enjoying the stamp set "never been inked" from the kit by making this card.  I did use the paper and sequins from the kit on a project I made recently.  And, today I'm entering this card in the #5 PTI Challenge.

Happy 8th Anniversary, Papertrey Ink!!!

Everything on the card is from PTI except for the ink, which is from Memento and SU.  I layered the "scatter" die with pink, blue, and green papers for dimension.  Sequins and rock glitter added to the sun for some awesome shine!

Well, that's all for now!  Thanks so much for dropping by today!  Take care and have a great week!

Hugs,
Maria

All You Need Is Love...

Hi Friends!

I saw the fun and colorful inspiration photo over at Curtain Call and decided to play along.  And, here is my card...

For my card, I started with a white card base and used Perfect Pearl Mist(Forever Red) from Tim Holtz and gold ink spray from Heidi Swapp.  I then used a heart stencil from MFT and sponged on distress inks of worn lipstick and fired brick from Tim Holtz.  The banner is also from MFT.  The sentiment stamp is from Cricut and the lips stamp is from Anita's, which was colored with copics.  Gold dew drops were added to finish off the card.

I have one more card to share with you using Paper Sweetie products.  It is following the inspiration challenge going on this month.  You have until the end of the month to enter.  I hope to see your project over at the challenge!  I did post Valentine treat projects on 2-1-15, but you know, I just couldn't help but make another project for I LOVE these colors of red and aqua together!  Here is the inspiration photo...

And here is my card...

I started with a white card base and paired it with red paper and cloud paper from American Crafts.  Abigail was colored with copics and die cut with Sweet Cuts-Abigail.  Her outfit is from the stamp set Sweetie Pie.   The hearts are from the set Be Happy and large hearts were die cut from the set Sweet Cuts-Be Happy.  The sentiments are from the set Banner Wishes.  And, the twine(Strawberry) was added to finish the card.

This card will go to my friend, Peggi, who has been going through some rough times lately.  I hope this card cheers her up!:-)  Ok, friends, that's all for now.  Hope you are having a good day!  Take care!

Hugs,
Maria

Sis...

Hi there!

How are you on this February day?  We had lots of snow yesterday.  And, it was declared a Level 3, which means you are not to be out on the roads unless it's an emergency.  Believe me, I'm happy to stay inside where it's cozy and warm!:-)

Ok, enough of weather talk and onto my card.  I made this card for my sis who loves vintage just like me.  I got this adorable image as a gift from the sweet Lori Hairston for participating in the Visions of Sugar Plums Blog Hop that she had last December.  She makes the most wonderful projects using vintage images!  You need to check out her blog ChouxChoux Paper Art!  You won't be disappointed!

I started with a red card base and paired it with yellow.  The image is from Studio Shine Vintage on etsy.  Courtney has the most adorable vintage images!  Go on over and take a peek because you'll love seeing all the sweetness!:-)  I stamped sis on a white heart and popped it up for dimension.  The alpha stamps are from Paper Sweeties.  I added a doily punched border from Martha Stewart.  Little hearts were punched and gems added.  For the final touch, I added ribbon from Verve and twine from PTI.  I'm entering this card over at Sweet Stampin' .

Well, that's all for today, friends!  Stay safe and warm today...have a great one!

Hugs,
Maria

Paper Sweeties Inspiration #28 February 2015-Sweetheart

Hi there!

This is my second post for the day.  Please scroll down to see my project for Dies R Us!

Woohoo!  It's February, which means LOVE(heart) month!  Mmmm...do you have a sweet tooth?  Well, I sure do!  And, the wonderful fun inspirational photo inspired me to make up some sweet gift treats for my loved ones!  My husband loves peanut M&Ms, son loves plain, and can't forget our fur baby!  Well, you guessed it...he loves milk bone treats!:-)

I had so much fun making these gift treats for my loved ones...

I started with clear plastic treat containers from the craft store.  Next, I die cut the panels using the Sweet Cuts-Be Happy.  The lids were decorated with more die cuts from the same die set just stated using hearts and circle.  The small stamped hearts in the corners are from the stamp set Stand Add-on: Fresh Baked.  The sentiment is from the set I Love You.  And, the dog and bone are from the stamp set Sweeties Pets.  Gems and Paper Sweeties twine to finish off the sweet yummy treat creations!

Here is a peek at the decorated lids...

I do hope you have fun creating a card or project this month for the challenge for one lucky winner will be awarded a $20 gift certificate.  And, an invite to be guest designer for the following month!

You'll want to hop along with my fellow teammates to see what creations they came up with...

I 'll see your fabulous project over at the challenge...have fun!  Thank you for visiting today!
