Follow Your Dreams...

Hi there!

I'm just popping in quick to share a card I made for my great niece.  She graduated last weekend with honors.  We are all so proud of her!  I'm entering the card over at City Crafter.  The theme this week is to use a banner on your project.  And, here is my card...

Hailey's school colors are red and gray and this is the first card that I made.  I am puzzled on which card to give her.  And, here is that card...

What do you think?  Which card do you like the best?  Sweet Hailey I'm sure will be happy with either card.  I can't believe that she's all grown up.  Here is a pic of her and her best friend, Baylee...

Hailey, my niece, is the one on the left.  They are both lovely ladies.  All grown up and ready to go out into the world!:-)  Ok, that's all for now.  Take care and have a wonderful week!

Hugs,
Maria

  3. 2 beautiful girls--such a cute picture, Maria! Some things in life I've forgotten, but the day I graduated from college isn't one of them--such a wonderful time! First I thought I liked the one with red, but I'm really torn as the banner card is so festive & pretty with the silvery sparkle! You can't go wrong whichever one you give her.

  4. Your cards are both fantastic, Maria! I think I like the one with red a wee bit better because those are the school colors and I like the pop of red! They are both beautiful girls, so young and alive and full of promise!! Hugs, Darnell

  5. Congratulations to your niece, Maria! Such sweetness and joy radiate from within her... her heart must be a thing of beauty. :o) Both of your cards are beautiful and I can't imagine picking one over the other! If forced, I'd have to go with the second one due to the personalized school colors and the precious owl. :o) The designs and sentiments on both are lovely. The bow and twine are such fun accents. You just can't go wrong with your decision. :o) Wonderfully done, my friend! Have a blessed night!

    Hugs and blessings,
    Karen

  7. These are two fabulous cards Maria! If I had my arm twisted to pick one I think it would be the second because of the school red and that fantastic mortar-board background :-)

  8. Beautiful cards! Beautiful girls! I love both cards, but I'm thinking the one with the red would be the best to give, because it has her colors in it :)

  10. Both cards are stunning. I love the simple but classic color scheme of black and white but the pop of red on the 2nd card makes it tailor made for your niece. She will love it! Thanks so much for joining us this week at CCCB! Always good to see you!
