Son...

Hi, there!

Just popping in quick to share with you a Valentine card I made for my son.  I think it looks masculine.  Lots of circles, arrows, some twine.  No pink bows or lace on this card...lol!  Anyways, it came together fairly quickly with Bo Bunny paper and heart stamp from SU.  The letters are canvas letters from American Crafts.  You can't tell by the photo, but I brushed on Wink of Stella on the letters, circles, and arrows.  Twine from Paper Sweeties and dots from Doodlebug to finish the card.  I'm entering this card over at Simon Says Wednesday Challenge

I have a couple more Valentine cards to make.  And, this weekend I'll be making some Valentine sugar cookies for my small group at church...yumm!  Well, that's all for now.  I hope all is well in your part of the world.  Take care!

Hugs,
Maria

I Love You!

Hi, Friends!

I 'm working away on some cards today.  You will see a few coming soon for the next Paper Sweeties release.  But, today I wanted to make a Valentine shaker card with some Paper Sweetie goodies and enter it in the challenge over at Lori's Challenge... here's the link.

I just love the heart from the set With Love and coordinating die Sweet Cuts-With Love that was released last month!  The sentiment is from the set I Love You.  And, the small heart is from the set Stand Add-on: Fresh Baked.  The sequins are (Marshmallow)

Ok, that's all for now!  I hope you are having a great weekend!  If you received lots of snow, which went east of us, please stay safe and warm!
Thanks so much for dropping by...take care!

Warm Wishes!

Hi, there!

Warm Wishes to you all!  The weather turned colder here and we may even get some snow this weekend.  It's so unusual to not have had any measurable snowfall yet.  We've only had traces of snow.  So, it's a great time to get out of town before the snow comes!:-)  I'll be going to Orlando, Fla. for a week for leadership training for my church with my friend, Karen.  Please forgive me if I don't get around to commenting.  I will be taking along my Ipad, so I'll do my best to keep up on following your blogs.

Anyways,  I made the above card for my friend, Nancy.  I wanted to make a card for her and include a copy of a newspaper article that her daughter was in.  The stamps are from Precious Remembrance except for the corner stamps, which are from Inkadinkadoo.    The paper is from Authentique and American Crafts.  The snowflakes are from Hobby Lobby.

I'll be away, but my blog posts will be several days next week beginning on 1-12-15.  So, stop back then and view how I decorated my new planner with some fun new planner stamps from Paper Sweeties!

Ok, that's all for now.  Thanks so much for dropping by!  Take care!

Hugs,
Maria

Hi, there!

Happy New Year!  Wishing for you many blessings of good health and happiness with the new year!

It's time for the Dies R Us Challenge!  The theme is Something NEW!

For my card, I was inspired to make a baby girl card!  A friend's daughter just welcomed a precious baby girl to their family!  How exciting right before Christmas!  I started with white card stock and paired it with DCWV paper.  I placed a Lawn Fawn stitched circle under the Floral Heart die.  The baby carriage stamp is from Paper Sweeties.  The scalloped stitched border is from Lawn Fawn, also.  And, the final alpha die is from Elizabeth Craft Designs.  All dies are listed below and available at Dies R Us!

Ok, friends, you have until  January 13th to enter.  And, remember there will be a $10 winner for the challenge!  There are so many choices at Dies R Us store!  And, new items are added all the time!  I'd love to see your project in the challenge...happy creating!
