Egg-stra Sweet Easter Wishes!

Hi, Friends!

I just wanted to share with you an Easter project that I made recently.  One wouldn't think it was Easter looking out my window.  We finally got some snow.  It will probably only be a couple of inches.  I think the average is about 29" and we've only gotten about 12" total this year.  But, that's ok with me!:-)

Anyways, I know it's a little early for Easter, but we crafters work ahead on things.  And, I thought the colors fit for the challenge going on right now at Paper Sweeties!  You have until the end of the month to enter!  The winner will receive a $20 gift certificate and be invited to be guest designer!  Come on over and join the fun!

I started with an oval shaped block of wood from Michael's and painted it pink.  It was then covered with polka dot paper.  Sophie was colored with copics and I added some whiskers.  Her outfit, carrot, and basket is from the set Bunny Hugs and Kisses and the sentiment is from the set Jelly Bean Time.  The die cuts used are Sweet Cuts-Home Tweet Home(fence) and Sweet Cuts-Be Happy(banner).  The seam binding ribbon (Frosting) is from Paper Sweeties, also.

Thanks so much for dropping by and taking a peek at my Easter project!  Take care and have a wonderful day!

Hugs,
Maria

Lucky Us...

Hi, friends!

I'm just popping in quick to share with you a card I made for my good friend, Nancy, who happens to have an Irish last name, too!  I'm entering this card over at MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge!  I recently purchased these fab St. Patrick's stamps/dies from MFT...love them!

For my card, I started with a white card base and added Authentique and Doodlebug paper.  I water colored the background behind the sweet PI image with orange Color Burst.  Super easy and so fun...love the effect!  The grass die is from MFT, too.  The dots are from Doodlebug.  And, here is my card...

Ok, friends, thanks so much for dropping by!  Have a great weekend!  Take care!

Hi, there!

Debbie has designed a new set this month for your planner decorating, which is Planner Series: Celebrate!  This set is a must have to remind you of birthdays, parties, etc!

Planner Series:  Celebrate

I stamped the new cake stamp on certain dates.  There is also balloons, party hat, and present. The set also comes with little envelope stamps to remind you to write a note or send out a card, etc.  I also used the Planner Series: Get your Craft On, Winter Sentiments, and Happy Icons that were released last month.  I colored Sophie with copics and die cut her with coordinating die Sweet Cuts-Sophie.  Her outfit is from the stamp set Have a Holly Jolly Holiday.  The small hearts next to Sophie are from the set Stand Add-on: Fresh Baked.  Isn't she cute all ready for Valentine's Day?

Please hop along and view some awesome planner inspiration from our Planner Team:
