Love You!

Hi, there!

Have you started those Valentine projects yet?  I made my first one  today.  I was inspired to join the challenge over at City Crafter.  The theme is to include the word "LOVE" or focus "HEARTS" on your project.  I made this card for my husband.  I guess my inner shabby chic came out today with the gems and glittered feathers.  I hope he likes it!

And, without further delay here is my card...

I started with a white card base and paired it with gold striped paper.  The border was die cut using a MFT die.  The hearts were made using a SU punch.  The love you sentiment die cut was made using Elizabeth Craft Designs dies.  The heart gems are from Hobby Lobby and the gold arrow and feathers is from Paper Studio.

Here is a another view of my card...

Ok, well that's all for now.  We are having a heat wave here today for the temp is in the 50's.  It feels like spring.  But it won't last long for we are due for more snow.  Originally, we were to get six to ten inches, but now it's only one to three inches.  I'll take the one to three!

Thanks so much for taking the time to drop by, my friends!  Take good care!

  1. What a gorgeous Valentine, Maria! Love the gold & white, the doily, the arrow--everything! I know your hubby will adore it! Stay safe you get another winter storm. Sending warm hugs, my friend!

  2. Beautiful card, Maria! Rainy day here with temps in the 60s--tomorrow back to the 30s.

  3. Happy New Year, Maria! I pray your holidays were beautiful. I have returned to the precious crafty world and have every hope that it is for good this time. Thank you for never giving up on me. :) Your card is exquisite! The detailing atop the stunning heart is incredible... it truly beats with love. Gorgeous inspiration, friend.
