The Play Date Challenge Cafe #62

Hi there!

I'm back!!! It feels so good to get back to making some cards!!! I was busy with Christmas festivities and that bad four letter word...WORK...hehehe! Anyways, I certainly hope you all had a wonderful holiday! We had a great holiday here. When my gravy turns out well, it's a success! It was great family fun with blessed memories. OK, now to my card. I just love the colors of this PDCC#62. I went with a romantic feel. I have to admit I struggled with the top left corner. I kept wanting to add something there. What do you think? I have to learn at times that less is more. Well, thank you for taking a peek and I appreciate any comments. Take care and have a Happy healthy New Year!

PDCC58

Hi All!

I couldn't resist this challenge over at The Play Date Cafe. The rich color of red is my favorite! Red just pops when it's against white. I played with my copic markers. I'm still learning with them! I tried to make the poinsettias real by making some squiggly lines with light pink in the center. I just love all the different colors of poinsettias this time of year! Anyways, Merry Christmas from our house to yours! Thanks for taking a peek, and I appreciate any comments! Take care!

Season's Greetings!

Hope you are getting a good start to this holiday season! It just rushes by too fast for me! I just love this embossing folder from Stampin' Up along with the stamp and seam binding. Also, I enjoyed making these little ornaments. I'm not sure where the Happy Holiday ribbon is from since a friend gave that to me. I'd make more but, I need to finish Christmas cards and get them out. Oh, how the time just flies by! Anyways, I'm wishing you all Happy Holidays! May you have peace, love, and joy this holiday season...take care!!!
