Scrapbook Page of Shadow...

Hi, Friends!

Popping in quick to share with you a scrapbook page of our dog, Shadow.  It seems that card making and other things are done before scrapbooking.  I have been working on this album for quite awhile.  Our dog, Shadow, passed away November 5, 2018.  He was such a good dog and is dearly missed.

The stamps I used are a very old set from Hero Arts.  Actually, I think it was one of my first stamp sets.  I was going to use another ghost stamp set, but wasn't able to locate it at this time.  Things are still somewhat disorganized.  I have craft items upstairs and downstairs.  But, it's ok, for it is great to come across old stamps and use them.

Since I had my Halloween items out, I thought I'd make a card.

I couldn't seem to get a clear photo of it...a little fuzzy.  I don't know what it is if it's my camera or photo editing program.  It's something that I seem to struggle with.  Anyways, one early Halloween card done for my stash.

We are waiting to have new appliances delivered today while I'm crafting away and keeping the dog out of the way.  It's a sunny day, so I'm sure that they will come with them.  Last week we were supposed to have lots of snow and they canceled the delivery.  We didn't get much snow at all, but I guess you have to plan ahead with the weather.  It will be great to get a new stove and refridgerator.  The oven hasn't been keeping the right temp for some time and the ice maker and water dispenser on the fridge wasn't working.

Well, that's all for now.  I hope you all are doing well today!  Frigid temps today, but happy to see the sun shine!  Thanks so much for dropping by today!  Take care and stay warm!

Hugs!
Maria

Valentine...

Hi, there!

Back again with another Valentine card.  I made a fun shaker card!  This card is full of hearts with stenciling, heart gems, and heart confetti!

For the background, I used a new stencil from Jillian Vance Design.  It was made with sponging on red and pink distress inks of Saltwater Taffy and Lumberjack Plaid.  The heart is from PTI and the love sentiment is from MFT.  I'm entering this card over at Color Hues Challenge and NBUS .

I have a few more Valentine cards to show you, but I'll share those later.

We finally got some snow here in NW Ohio.  There were lovely snowflakes falling slowly from the sky yesterday.  It was just enough to cover the ground.  My dog, Sheila, had second thoughts about going outside, but then quickly ventured out.  More snow is due to come in a couple of days.  I hope it won't be too bad.  I did notice in the hardware store in town that more plastic sleds were displayed in the window.  It's always great to get some snow for the kids to play in.  I know that I have great memories of sledding and ice skating.

Ok, that's all for now.  Thanks so much for taking the time to drop by today!  Take care and have a wonderful day!

Hugs,

Valentines and Happy Birthday!

Hi, there!

Long time no post from me.  But, I've just been busy with different things.  I'll show you a couple of photos at the end of this post that I chose a paint color and we got our craft/office room painted.  My son will put up new trim.  I'm not sure when that will be completed, but the process of updating this room has started.

Last weekend I got together with some friends and I got Valentine and birthday cards made.  The above card is for my husband using MFT stamps and dies.  The love die in the center of the O is from PI.

Next up, is a birthday card for a friend.  The flowers are from Pretty Pink Posh and the background leaf die is from Memory Box.  The flowers were colored with copics.

And, the last card is for my son.  The images are from MFT.  My son once had a hedgehog, so I thought this would be the perfect card for him.

Ok, just a couple more photos...

I nearly forgot to get a photo before the new paint color.  We had everything covered before we started painting.

And, here is one photo showing the new paint color, which is a light blue color called (Sigh).  I want to come in my craft room to create and sigh with happiness!

It's still a mess and needs organized.  And, my husband has some Ohio State football items here and there.  Not sure if I can be rid of those things since I share this craft/office room with him, lol!  But, it already looks much better with a fresh coat of new paint!

Ok, friends, that's all for now.  I thank you for dropping by and have a great rest of the week!

Take care, hugs!

Snowman...

Hi, there!

Happy New Year!  I hope this new year is starting out well for all of you!  Things are going well here for us.  We got over the bad weather right before Christmas and yesterday seemed like spring with the temps in the 60's.  Wow!  What a change Mother Nature does at times.

I'm here today to share with you a birthday card that I made for my friend, Pat.

I started with an aqua card base and paired it with a snowflake frame die from Lawn Fawn.  I just love those beautiful snowflakes!  The snowman is from Tim Holtz.  Such a cute snowman with layers for the scarf and ear muffs!  And, it's so sweet how the stick arms extend to hold a heart.  I didn't add a sentiment since I didn't want to take away the beauty of the snowflakes.

Ok, that's all for now.  We are heading out to lunch and picking up paint for our office/craft room.  It's a dream of mine to get this room organized for a more efficient craft room.  I'm not sure when it will be complete, but at least it's heading into the right direction.

I thank you all who come to my blog with your sweet comments and wonderful support!  It's truly a blessing to have so many craft friends around the world for support and inspiration!!

Take care, hugs!!
