Merry Christmas!

Hi there!

Merry Christmas!  How are things with you?  Are you getting all those Christmas preparations done?   I thought I'd be back here sooner, but work, etc. has kept me very busy.  I took a break and made these little tags.  I wanted to add some design paper, but went with all white background.  I just love the sweet little stamps Debbie designed, which are perfect for tags, etc.  I used the Have a Holly Jolly Holiday stamp set from Paper Sweeties.

I started with white card stock and die cut using SU Framelit Labels.  The images were stamped and colored with copics.  The sentiment was popped up for dimension and gems added.  For the finishing touch I added ribbon and twine.

I hope all is well with you.  We've had lots of rain over the past couple days.  All the snow is nearly gone...sigh.  The snow was so pretty last weekend.  And, I thought...yeah...a white Christmas.  Well, I'm late in posting this, but I thought I'd share the lovely photo of our Christmas lights with the snow from last weekend.

A few more days until Christmas, so maybe there is still hope for snow?  Ok, friends, thank you so much for dropping by today.  You take good care and wishing for you and family a very Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas!

Hi there!

I'm just popping in quick to show you a quick card that I made.  Yes, I'm still making some Christmas cards!  Why oh why don't I think ahead and make them in July?  Hmmm...'cause I'm not in the mood or inspired at that time?  Well, I'm thinking I need to change that next year!:-)  Anyways, about my card...

I used Paper Sweeties darling little gingerbread people.  I've used this Ho Ho Ho stamp set several times now.  It's just too adorable not to!  And, the Ho Ho Ho Sweet Cuts dies makes it so convenient rather than fussy cutting.  I colored the buttons and bows with copics and added gems.  For the final easy touch I added washi tape.  How convenient to already have the sentiment on the tape!  I'm loving washi tape more and more these days.  Well, I may be back soon to show you another Christmas card.  In the meantime, I need to do some house cleaning...grrr.  I'd rather be crafting, right?

Thanks so much for dropping by!  Have a wonderful weekend, hugs!

Merry Christmas!

Hi Friends!

I have a mixed media project to show you that I have been working on, and I'm entering it over at A Mixed Media Color Challenge.  The theme is any color and to do a holiday project.  I was looking through the Lowe's flier of craft ideas that I received in the mail.  It showed project ideas with paper mache trees.  And, one showed trees with white caulk!  Uh huh, as seen above there are my white caulk trees...lol!  But, I think they turned out lovely!  That caulk went on like icing...so smooth!  All I did was apply it and used a spoon to decorate.  I sprinkled white glitter for shabby chic detail.  Here is a close up of the smaller tree...

After the caulk dried, I wrapped Tim Holtz tinsel ribbon around the trees.  I added Paper Sweeties Vintage Winter White seam binding ribbon.  Also, a sentiment from Paper Sweeties using the stamp set Season of Love was stamped and tied with silver thread.  The sentiments says...Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!  Silver leaves and bells were placed for added interest.  For the finishing touch I adhered a lovely flower from Martha Stewart.  So, what do you think of my shabby chic trees made with caulk?

I thank you so much for viewing my trees today!  Hope you are having a great weekend.  And, I'm wishing for you a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

Paper Sweeties-Release Rewind-Joyeux Noel!

Hi there!

I'm back again with another card highlighting the  Season of Love and Thanks Snow Much stamp sets from Paper Sweeties!  The wreath and sentiment is from the first set that I mentioned.  And, the snowflakes are from the latter.  I so love those snowflakes!  If you remember a previous card, I stamped them in aqua.  The wreath is so pretty, too, with wonderful sentiments that you can place in the center.  Included are some thank you sentiments that would make for sweet Christmas thank you cards!

I started with a white card base and stamped the snowflakes for the background and die cut several with Thanks Snow Much Sweet Cuts.  I added silver and blue foil paper and placed the wreath, which I fussy cut and adhered silver glass glitter.  Gems, pom-pom trim, and pearl cotton to finish off my card.

Paper Sweeties-Sending Holiday Cheer!

Hi Friends!

How do you like the stamp release so far?  Awesome sweet stamps, right?!  I do love wreaths and snowflakes!  So, today I have a gorgeous wreath, bow and sentiment from the stamp set Noel.  I'm entering this card over at Word Art Wednesday.

For my card I started with a white card base and added red and lovely MME paper.  I trimmed red ribbon for the banner.  White large snowflakes were punched with tiny gems added.  A doily placed over the snowflakes.  The wreath and bow from the stamp set was stamped and colored with copics.  It was fussy cut and popped up for dimension.  A pretty gem for the bow.  Ribbon treatment with gem and pearl cotton for the final touch.

That's all for now, friends!  You ready for more inspiration?
Just hop on over to see what the other design team members have created.  You won't be disappointed!

Paper Sweeties-Happy Ho Ho Holidays!

Hello!

Today I'd like to highlight the *new* stamp set Thanks Snow Much!   Just look at that darling little snowman all bundled up in his snow suit.  He's holding gingerbreads...yummm!  The sentiment reads...Thanks Snow Much.  This card will come in handy for a thank you card.  Isn't it great to have thank you cards already made up for when you need them?  Ok, now let me tell you about my card with this *new* stamp set...

I'm entering this card over at Inky Impressions Challenge Blog.

I started with a white card base and added red and aqua.  I just love the colors of red and aqua together!  I colored the snowman with copics and die cut him with coordinating Thanks Snow Much Sweet Cuts.   The snow drift and snowflakes were also die cut from the same set.  I added glitter and gems to the snowman and snowflakes.  Twine was added to finish off the card.  Stay tuned for tomorrow you will see another card with those pretty little snowflakes.  And, since they have coordinating dies, it makes it so much easier!:-)

Hop on over to see what the other design team members have created...
