Happy Birthday!

Hi, Friends!

I'd like to share with you a card I made for a friend.  She loves the color purple.  I started with a dark purple card base and paired it with Waffle Flower postage die and stamps.  The sentiment is from Honey Bee.  The flowers and leaves are from Lawn Fawn.  I used distress ink for the background and some ink splatters for interest.  I'm entering this card over at the Triple B Challenge.

We went to the Ohio State Fair a couple weeks ago and had fun looking at the animals.  We saw a four-horned sheep as seen below.  We had no idea that there was a sheep that has four horns.  He could do double damage bumping into you...I mean quadruple damage, lol!

Every year they make statues
out of butter.

I won't bore you with a lot of fair pics.  But, just two more pics for these are my favorite animals, which are my Nicky and Coco.

Ok, friends that's all for now.  Thanks so much for dropping by today!  I hope you have a great rest of the week!  Take care!

Hugs!

Thinking of You!

Hello Friends!

I hope you all are doing well on this fine Friday afternoon!  I was organizing my craft room a bit and noted that I had a kit from Simon Says from a couple years ago.  I did use some of it previously.  The design paper is so lovely.  I put it to good use with the flowers dies that were included in the kit along with the ribbon and stamp set.  The sequins are from Simon Says, also.  I made two more cards with the same kit as seen below.  I'm entering this card over at Pretty Papers Challenge.

For this card, I sprayed the die cut flowers with Distress Spray (Fossilized Amber).  The sentiment was embossed.  Sequins added and I drew lines along the bottom border for interest.  A ribbon tied to finish the card.

For my last card, I added a navy blue panel under the design paper.  The pink seam binding ribbon is from Paper Sweeties.  A strip of navy blue paper embossed with the sentiment and sequins added for the final touch.

The cards were so easy to make and it felt good to use up the pretty design paper from the kit.

Thanks so much for taking the time to drop by today!  I hope you have a great weekend, take care!

Hugs!
