Santa Sends His Best...

Hi, Friends!

I hope you all are doing well!  I thought I'd share a couple of Christmas cards with you today.  Christmas in July?  Well, June is nearly over.  It's hard to believe how the summer is moving right along. We've had some good weather and some weather that has been not so good.  We've done ok here with just limbs down from the trees.  Prayers go out to those who have had damage.  It's been humid, too, so I've gone straight to winter and am thinking snow with these cards!

MFT images colored with copics for the cute Santa and houses.  A little snowflake made using a punch and gold dots to finish the card.

Next up,

Another MFT image with a Santa colored with copics.  His sled is filled with presents to go to good boys and girls!

Ok, I couldn't resist after I already posted...

I had a few MFT images that were already colored and I thought I'd make another card.  This Santa is in his sleigh ready to deliver the presents with Rudolph leading the way!

I think this card is my favorite due to the bright colors against the dark background sky.

Thanks so much for dropping by today!  I hope you have a great rest of the week, take care!

Hugs!

Thinking of you!

Hi, Friends!

Just posting some thinking of you cards that where I used the same washi tape from Altenew and same sentiment from Sunny Studio.  I send lots of thinking of you cards to family, friends, and church members, so it's always a good to build up my stash.  These cards were very easy to make.  The above card was made using a stencil from Pretty Pink Posh.  I gold embossed the sentiment and added gold dots to finish the card.  I'm entering this card over at Color Hues Challenge.

Next up,  another card where I just added a paper in the middle of the card under the sentiment.

And, for my last card, I used Avery Elle flowers colored with copics.  For the leaves, I used a punch.

Just quick and easy cards to have on hand when needed.  I just love the leaf washi tape.  I'm sure I'll be using it again.  I made a couple more thinking of you cards with some beautiful Graphic 45 paper yesterday before the big storm hit here.  I will post them another time.  We had hail, rain, and strong winds that came through.  A tornado was spotted about an hour from my sister's house.  She is fine and I believe everyone around the area is fine.  There was some damage to some houses and barns several miles south of us.  I saw on TV about TX having had loss and lots of damage.  My heart goes out to them.

Well, thanks so much for taking the time to drop by today!  Take care and have a great weekend!

Hugs!
Maria

Happy Birthday!

Hi, Friends!

It's strawberry season around here!  We went to a strawberry farm last week and bought eight quarts of delicious strawberries...so yummy!  I usually make strawberry pies with them because my hubby loves pie.  At times, I'll serve them over cake, too.  I have made jam in the past, but haven't done that in several years.  My sister-in-law makes delicious jam, so we have been well supplied.  Thank you, April!

Anyways, the above card was made using new strawberry dies that I recently purchased from Spellbinder's.  The doily die and sentiment is from MFT.  And, the embossed background was made using a folder from SU.  I'm entering this card over at NBUS Challenge.

'
Well, that's all for now.  I've made several thinking of you cards and I will show those later.  Take care and have a wonderful weekend!

Hugs!

Happy Anniversary, Happy Birthday!

Hi, there!

It's been a little while since I've been here on my blog.  Life has been busy with visiting a sick family member.  We did manage to get some fun time away, though, for a break in the action by going camping with my sister and her husband for a few days last week.  It was perfect weather right near Lake Erie.  We had lots of fun bike riding, playing corn hole, and cooking delicious meals over the fire.  I have a few photos and just tried downloading them from my phone, but now I can't access them on my computer.  Ah, technology...isn't what I'm good at, so I'll have to ask my son for help.

Anyways, the above card is for my friend's anniversary.  I used this same image for my MIL for Mother's Day if you remember seeing the image.  It's a wonderful set from Avery Elle.  I really enjoyed coloring the flowers with copics.

Next up, a card for my great nephew who is turning sixteen soon.  I thought you can't go wrong with balloons and cake.  The image is from Sunny Studio.  The frame is from MFT.  I probably should have placed the candles different, but I already had the 6 candle glued down and didn't want the one candle to hide the candles at the top, oh well...live and learn, lol!

Well, that's all for now.  I hope you are having wonderful weather where you are.  It is a perfect day here in the 70's with the sun shining.  We certainly could use some rain.  I don't think we will have rain until possibly this Sunday.  We watered the flowers on Friday and I'm sure we will be watering again soon.

Take care and thanks so much for dropping by today!

Hugs!
