Happy Thanksgiving to all my friends in the USA!  May you have a wonderful blessed Thanksgiving with family!  I'm very grateful for all my blessings!  And, I thank you so much for your continued support by always dropping by!  It means so much to me, thank you!!

I'm already past the Thanksgiving Day cards, so I'll share with you a few cards I made for Christmas.

The poinsettia image is from Sweet 'n Sassy and it was colored with copics.  The poinsettia embossed background is from SU and the sentiment is from PTI.  Gold ribbon and gems to finish the card.

I made a similar card, but colored it in red and used a different sentiment, which is from Pretty Pink Posh...

I got a little artsy with the flowers and sprayed on Avery Elle white ink.  I'm still not sure if I like it or not.

And, the last card is similar, but with pink ribbon...

We are leaving for our son's on Thursday for Thanksgiving.  I'll I have to do is take some pies.  I guess I shouldn't say that's all I have to do for when we get there he'll put us to work in the kitchen, lol!  But, it's ok for we all help each other.  I'm looking forward to a delicious meal with turkey and all the other sides.  My son does like to cook at times and said he might even surprise us with a new sweet potato dish, yum!

Well, thanks so much for dropping by today!  Take care and have a wonderful week!

Hugs!

Paper Sweeties November 2021 Featured Products Inspiration Day #3!

Hi, Friends!

Welcome to November Featured Products Inspiration Day #3!  We are highlighting the Paper Dolls this month!  Today, I am featuring the Paper Doll, Madison!

Featured Products:

All dolls, doll dies & outfits

For my card, I started with a white card base and paired it with a die cut heart using glitter paper.  The heart is from the set Sweet Cuts-With Love, so pretty!  Madison is in her angel outfit ready for the school play.  I remember in first grade I was going to be an angel, but the teacher changed her mind and had me play the virgin Mary.  My cousin, Tom, was Joseph.  All I had to do was kneel and hold the baby Jesus.  I have to say that was the last of my starring in a school play. I did just fine, but if you know me, I don't like to be in the spotlight.  Madison's outfit and sentiment are from the set Christmas Blessings.  Heart gems and pearl cotton tied in a bow to finish the card.

Featured Products:

For my card, I started with a gray card base.  The background sky was made using distress ink.  For depth, I stamped corn stalks and then die cut a few using the set Scarecrow.  The pumpkins are from the same set.  Jake's outfit, turkey, and sentiment is from the set Gobble Gobble.  Tom the turkey made friends with Jake.  He convinced Jake to hunt for quail this year!  All images were colored with copics.  Twine to finish the card.

Dies R Us Challenge November 15, 2021(Anything Goes!)

Hello, Friends!  It's time for another Dies R Us Challenge!  The theme is Anything Goes!  We ask that you use at least one die on your project for the challenge that Dies R Us sells!  Please come and join the fun and have a chance to win!

And, it's nearly gobble gobble time!  Tom Turkey is sitting on the wagon of pumpkins and ready to run if anyone spots him. The crow promises to keep a look out for him.

For my card, I started with a blue card base and paired it with a frame that was die cut using LF Reverse Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Windows.  I then used mustard seed, spiced marmalade, and wilted violet distress inks for the sky.  The turkey is from Paper Sweeties.  The leaves, pumpkins, wagon, and crow are from LF.  The grass border is from LF, also.  White gel pen was used for interest on the images and twine to finish the card.

Dies R Us now has a sister store with warehouses in the USA and Canada called Didi Crafts

It will ship to both the US and Canada.  Didi Crafts will carry some of the same products as DRU, but most will be different.  Now our Canadian friends don't have to worry about huge taxes or shipping fees. How great is that!?!

My teammates have some fabulous inspiration for you today.  Sit back, relax, and take a look.... (you can click on their name to go to their personal blogs and get more detailed information about each project)

Happy Birthday!

Hi, crafty friends!

What a beautiful day here in NW Ohio.  It's a perfect fall day for my birthday!  Later this evening I plan to have dinner with our son at a favorite restaurant.  My husband this morning surprised me with a  lovely bouquet of flowers and a gift certificate to a craft store!  Yesterday, I had a great time at my sister's condo with all my sisters to celebrate my birthday, so fun!

My sister, Christina, gave me the nutcracker(baker) and a cookie jar(truck).  I usually bake Christmas cookies for them to take home when we get together in December.  It must be a hint to do it again this year!:-)

They also had decorated a Parisian theme for my birthday, so sweet!!

Tomorrow is my SIL, April's birthday!  A big happy birthday to you, April!  I am hoping that by now that she received her birthday card.  I had tons of fun making her the flower card!  I am entering this card over at the Flower Challenge.

And, here is the card...

I already posted this card in IG, so some of you have already seen it.  The sunflower dies are from Honey Bee.  Ink sprays, ribbon, and a gem were added to finish the card.  Ink sprays can be quite messy, but it's fun playing with them since you always get a different result with your projects.

Thanks so much for taking the time to drop by today!  Take care and have a wonderful day!

Hugs!
