Happy Birthday!

Just popping in to share with you a card I made for my sister's birthday.  She loves flamingos!  Nearly everything pink on this card.  She loves bling, so I added some gems from Ink Road.  The flamingos are from MFT.  The stencil is from Pretty Pink Posh, and the sentiment is from Clearly Besotted.  I stenciled the envelope, too.  I'm entering this card over at Seize the Birthday

More bling for my sis with a sparkly flamingo pouch.  I hope she likes it!

Not much else going on here.  I'm trying to finish up design team assignments for next month before my husband retires.  I'll continue on the design teams and see how it goes for now.  He retires on August 3rd.  We were hoping to do more travelling, but with the current pandemic going on things are not "normal".  Anyways, time will tell and maybe next year we will be able to get out and do more.  In the meantime, I'm not sure what his being at home will do for my creative process.  I may lose my mojo, lol.  Any tips or pointers you can give me for when your spouse retired?  I told him that there will be rules.  And, the ornery ole guy says...."Rules are made to be broken"...ha!

Ok, over and out for now, my crafty friends!  Take good care, stay safe, and stay crafty!

Big Hugs!

Dies R Us Challenge-July 15, 2020!(Christmas in July)

Hi, Friends!

It's time for another Dies R Us Challenge!  And, the theme is (Christmas in July)!  We ask that you use at least one die on your project.  Come and join the fun and have a chance to win a gift certificate...enjoy creating!  My first Christmas card for the year and many to go, lol!

I recently purchased the Poppy Stamps Merry Christmas Flourish die.  It was die cut three times.  The borders were made using the Lawn Fawn Stitched Scalloped Borders die.  I wanted to make the card fairly simple to let the sentiment die take center stage.  Gems from Ink Road were placed in the corners for interest.  Wink of Stella was added to the sentiment to give it some shine.

For the inside of the card, the sentiment is from Mama Elephant.

All dies and inks that were used for my card with links are listed below.  I hope you create a project using dies and join us for the challenge!

Dies R Us has a sister store with warehouses in the USA and Canada called Didi Crafts

It will ship to both the US and Canada.  Didi Crafts will carry some of the same products as DRU, but most will be different.  Now our Canadian friends don't have to worry about huge taxes or shipping fees. How great is that!?!

My teammates have some fabulous inspiration for you today.  Sit back, relax, and take a look.... (you can click on their name to go to their personal blogs and get more detailed information about each project)
