Paper Sweeties February 2022 Featured Products Inspiration Day #3!

Today I am featuring the set Sweet Mini Duo /HOMEMADE set...



For my card, I started with an aqua white card base and paired it with Doodlebug paper.  The oven mit, hand mixer, and sentiments are from the set.  The cute yummy cupcake and heart stickers are from Doodlebug, also.  Washi tape for interest and twine to finish the card.

Today is my last post for Paper Sweeties.  I have been designing for the team for nearly nine years.  I have lots of great memories!  Paper Sweeties was my first design team and I have grown as a designer and continue to grow.  It will be missed, but my eyes are just not what they used to be.  Also, since my husband retired, we would like to do more travelling.  The pandemic has not made that easy.  But, we are thinking of getting back into camping and travel within our beautiful country!  Those are the plans for now and time will tell.  I thank you for your support and sweet comments on all my Paper Sweeties creations!

Paper Sweeties February 2022 Featured Products Inspiration Day #2!




Hello Friends!

Today I am featuring the set Sweet Mini Duo/CELEBRATE with this card...



For my card, I started with a white card base and paired it with Doodlebug paper.  The cupcakes and sentiments are from the Sweet Mini Duo/ CELEBRATE set.  A heart embossed background was made using an embossing folder.  I used the Sweet Cuts:  With love die for the heart since it is one of my favorite dies, so pretty!  The yummy cupcakes were colored with copics.  Sparkle red yarn and gems to finish the birthday card.

For my card, I started with a white card base and paired it with Doodlebug paper.  The phone and sentiments are from the set.  The heart was made using Sweet Cuts-With Love.  Gems and Raspberry ribbon to finish the card.

Paper Sweeties January 2022 New Product Release Rewind!




Hello Friends!

I'm back again for Paper Sweeties Release Rewind!  It's a new release month for Paper Sweeties with the 1st Quarter 2022 Sweet Kit!  It coordinates with the Build a Gnome set.  The new stamp/die set is Gnome Add-on: Winter!  Today I'm sharing another winter card with an ice skating gnome!  Yes, gnomes to ice skate, but very carefully I'm sure!:)



I started with a white card base and paired it with Doodlebug paper.  The snowflake embossing folder is from Darice.  The hat, scarf, cup, and sentiment is from the new Gnome Add-on Winter stamp/die set, which coordinates with Build a Gnome.  The skates are from a previously released set Let it Snow.  The ice skating pond was made using Sweet Cuts-Oval Scallop Frames.  Nuvo Glitter Accents around the pond and snowflakes.

Paper Sweeties January 2022 New Product Release Party!

             



Hello Friends!

I'm back again for Paper Sweeties Release Party!  It's a new release month for Paper Sweeties with the 1st Quarter 2022 Sweet Kit!  It coordinates with the Build a Gnome set.  The new stamp/die set is Gnome Add-on: Winter!  Today I'm sharing a sweet Valentine gnome card!  The girl gnome is ready to send Valentines to all her friends and family!







I started with a red card base and paired it with PhotoPlay paper.  The next panel was made using Brutus Monroe-Pearl Shimmer Mist ink spray and Perfect Pearl Mists-forever red ink spray.  I made a heart stencil using Sweet Cuts-With Love.  The red small heart is a sticker.  Nuvo glitter accents to surround the heart.  The sentiment stamped around the borders is from the stamp set Sent from my heart.  




The sentiment and hearts for the inside of the card is from the new set, also.

Paper Sweeties January 2022 New Product Sneak Peeks!

                                 


Hello Friends!

It's been quite awhile since I've updated.  Lately, I had to take it easy for a couple of reasons.  Shortly after Christmas my sister-in-law, Sylvia, passed away from Covid.  My two nieces and nephew are now without a mother and a father.  My brother, John passed away eight years ago.  My nieces and nephew are strong and will get through it with help from God, family, and friends.  

My sister and her husband came down with Covid recently.  My sisters and I got together on January 7th.  I'm pretty sure that I got Covid, also.  We all were vaccinated.  I think I'm over the worst of it.  I'm hoping and praying that this is the last Covid surge!  Anyways, on a happier note, I do have a card to share with you today.

It's a new release month for Paper Sweeties with the 1st Quarter 2022 Sweet Kit!  It coordinates with the Build a Gnome set.  The new stamp/die set is Gnome Add-on: Winter!  We haven't had much snow yet around here, but this little gnome guy is enjoying a sled ride with all the snow in his little world!




I started with a white card base and paired it with Doodlebug paper.  The sled and snowballs are from the set Wagon Add-on:  Snowballs for Sale.  Twine added for interest along with Nuvo Glitter Accents for the snow.

I do hope we get some snow for kids to enjoy.  We've only had about 1-2 inches.  I remember sledding and ice skating when younger.  We bought new skates for our son this Christmas.  He used to play on a rec league.  So, I hope he enjoys skating again.   It's so convenient for him since he has a rink only about five minutes from his house.
