Dear friend...

Hello Friends!

Happy weekend to you!  I'd like to share a card that I made for a friend.  As you can see, this is a fold card.  I'm not sure what kind it is for I got the instructions from a friend.  If you would like the instructions, just let me know and I'd be happy to share them.  The image is from MFT and the sentiments are from Creative Worship.  I drew in birds for added interest.  I colored the images with copics.  I'm entering this card over at Allsorts Challenge.

Yesterday, we returned from our camping trip.  I don't think we chose a good time to go for it was hot, humid, and smokey.  The forest fire smoke came down from Canada on the second day that we were there.  We limited our time outdoors, but did manage to enjoy a couple bike rides and the playful black squirrels that we saw...so cute!

If you look closely, hubby took this pic
as the fisherman needed to lower his
head while going under the bridge.

You can see it was hazy due to the
smoke coming down from the Canadian
forest fires.  Our hearts and prayers
are with those who have suffered
 from these fires.

Making memories one campsite at a time!

Ok, friends, that's all for now.  I hope you have a great weekend!  Take care and stay cool!

Hugs!

Hello!

Hi, Friends!

Just popping in to share with you a card I made for a friend.  I put some new Pretty Pink Posh goodies to use!  I love the sweet flamingo that can hold some sweet summery treats!  The clouds and sun are from Spellbinder's  The images were colored with copics and distress inks.  I got my inspiration from Brenda Noelke seen on instagram.  I'm entering this card over at NBUS Challenge.

Are you ready for some more hot summer days?!  I don't think I am especially when we have plans to go camping this week...whew!  We will limit our outdoor time and enjoy the air conditioner, I'm sure!  Yesterday, we had a good time driving around the lake(Lake Erie), which is only about five miles from us.  We went to one of our favorite spots with the lighthouse in Marblehead, Ohio.  We took a few photos as seen below...

Ok, friends, that's all for now.  Thanks so much for taking the time to drop by today!  Take care and stay cool!

Happy Anniversary!

Hi, Friends!

I'd like to share with you a card I made for my sister.  A very simple card that came together quickly.  The panel and design paper is from Echo Park, Strawberry Fields by Lori Whitlock.  Such a fun collection kit filled with strawberry goodies!  The sentiment is from MFT.  The gems are from SU.  A bow added to finish the card!

What a difference a few hours make when travelling to see our son today to pick up the granddog.  Our son is going on vacation and we will have his German Shepherd for about a week.  The cats won't be happy, but they usually stay downstairs in the family room when he comes.  Anyways, the weather was sunny hot and humid with 91 degrees.  Before we left from our home it was raining and cool.  It did make it up to 80 degrees here today.  This week will be much cooler, thank goodness!

One more card to share...

This card I made for a friend with a July 4th birthday.

All images are from Sunny Studio and were colored with copics.

Ok, friends!  That's all for now.  I hope you had a wonderful 4th!  We watched the fireworks on the 3rd and we went to see a movie yesterday, which was Young George Washington.  It was a good movie!  Thanks so much for dropping by!  Take care!

What's Shakin'?

Hi, Friends!

I'd like to share with you a card I made for my sister's birthday.  She loves flamingos, so I colored the darling flamingos with copics from Sunny Studio.  I added the hip dog with the cute poodle skirt from Sunny Studio, also.  Twine added to finish the card.  I hope she's cooling off this day in her swimming pool.  It's going to be very HOT this week.  Thank goodness for air conditioning!  My hubby is out mowing the lawn right now before it gets too hot.  I'm entering this card over at Word Art Wednesday.

Ok, friends, time to go out and give hubby some water in this hot heat.  Wherever you are, I hope you stay safe and cool!  Thanks so much for dropping by, take care!

You're the Zest!

Hi, Friends,

I'd like to share with you a card made for a friend who is an excellent chef!  We went to a dinner party last Thursday with church friends.  Our good friend, Doug, who is Italian, loves to cook!  I have made him cards before with the MFT chef on it.  I thought what stamp set could I use this time?  He made chicken, pasta, salad.  He had cheeses and bread with olive oil.  All was so delicious!  He had wines and limoncello.  I learned that you sip limoncello, lol!  Anyways, this card was sent and I hope he likes it!  I used Lawn Fawn stamps and The Greetery for the center panel.  I sprayed mustard seed distress oxide spray for interest.  All images were colored with copics.

We had a wonderful Father's Day weekend!  Our son, Jeremy, came up to visit for a few days.  He washed the car and did some computer repairs.  He's such a helpful computer tech guy!

Here is the Father's Day card that I made for hubby.  More Lawn Fawn goodies on this card.

The mice images are from Lawn Fawn.  The tool die cuts are from a friend.  I just love the happy little mice!  I guess I've been on a Lawn Fawn kick lately!

Ok, friends, that's all for now.  I hope you have a great rest of the week!  Thanks so much for taking the time to drop by today, take care!

Thank You!

Hi, Friends!

I'd like to share with you a card I made for my PT lady.  I used copic markers and distress inks for the cute butterflies and pretty flowers.  The background is supposed to be a light blue, but it doesn't show well in this photo.  I'm entering this card over at A Cut Above Challenge.

Well, I have just a little bit of time before hubby comes home from helping with the Lion's Club sandwich sale.  He said he'd take me out to dinner.  I need to clean up my craft room.  It's going to take awhile, but at least I'll clean up my desk area.  I need to organize stamps and find new spots for everything that has accumulated on the desk.  Does that happen to you?  It happens to me all the time, lol!

Ok, friends, I'll close here for now.  Take care and thanks so much for dropping by today!  Have a great weekend!

Hugs!

Sweet as can bee!

Hi there!

Popping in today to share with you a card that I made for a friend who has a milestone birthday next month!  She loves bees, so I colored the sweet bees from Pretty Pink Posh and placed them against the beehive stencil background from Tim Holtz.  The numbers are from Taylored Expressions.    Polka strips of paper added to the sides to finish the card.

I'd like to share with you a few photos of my sister's bday party on Tuesday.  She had a milestone birthday last month.  We finally got together due to my one sis having knee surgery and I had my surgery.  She turned 80 last month, so we had to have a special celebration for her.  We had a great time at my sister's cottage with great food and fun!

me, Cecilia, Donna(bday girl), Lucretia, Christina

The sign behind us says...80 is only
27 in Celsisus!

This was my sister's bday card for she loves
to garden.  I had already posted this card on
4-22-26.

Ok, friends that's all for now!  I hope you have a great rest of the week.  Thanks so much for dropping by today, take care!

Happy Birthday!

Hi, Friends!

I'd like to share with you a card that I made for my niece's birthday!  I didn't put a birthday sentiment on the front for I didn't want to cover up the image.  I started with coloring the new lilac image from Hero Arts with copics.  I used Nuvo drops in yellow for the center of the flowers.  I haven't used Nuvo drops in ages!  The background panels were die cut using dies from Emily Moore.  A bow and gems to finish the card.  I'm entering this card over at NBUS Challenge  and Four Seasons Challenge.

It turned cold again today.  Yesterday it was in the 80's.  It's now only 58 degrees.  Hubby took me to a favorite place after my PT session today.  It was great to get out and enjoy delicious food!

My yellow iris flowers are in full bloom and look very pretty!  Hubby planted geraniums for me in our big pots around the house.  The dark red color looks beautiful!  It's great to see all the lovely color around the yard again!  We've been seeing a hummingbird come to the feeder and it's been so fun watching it!

EDIT:

Ok, that's all for now.  Thanks so much for taking the time to drop by today!  Have a great rest of the week, take care!

Thank you!

Hi, Friends!

It's been almost three weeks since I've been here on  my blog.  I had surgery on 4-28 and am coming along well.  I got the staples out today and it feels much better!  Thank you for your prayers, support, and cards!  It's appreciated!

Above is a card that I made before my surgery.  It is a thank you card that I gave to my physical therapy guy who came to the house for two weeks.  The sentiments are from Sunny Studio and the stars are from Creative Worship(formerly Sweet 'n Sassy).  Twine and gems to finish the card.

Next up,  a card that I sent to a friend...

I made the above card several week ago.  The images and sentiment are from Lawn Fawn.  Those cute butterflies make me smile!  The clouds and sun are from Spellbinder's.  Gems to finish this card.

Beautiful days are coming for this weekend.  The temps will be in the 80's.  I'm ready for some warmer weather.  I hope to sit out on the deck and enjoy some sunshine!

You Grow Girl!

Hi, Friends!

I'd like to share with you a card I made for my sister for her birthday.  She loves to garden and grow flowers!  She takes after my Mom with having a green thumb!  All images, sentiments, frame, and grass die are from Lawn Fawn.  The clouds are from Spellbinder's.  Gold dots and some gold spray to finish the card.  I was inspired by Elena Roussakis when I saw her card using the cute images.  I knew the card would be perfect for my sis, so I couldn't resist purchasing the stamp set.

Here is the card by Elena Roussakis...

Happy Birthday!

Hi, there!

I made a simple shaker birthday card for a nephew.  I used the fun birthday wishes die from Pretty Pink Posh and filled it with gems from Pink Fresh.  The background was die cut using a die from The Greetery.  Iridescent White Cord from Simon Says to finish the card.  I'm entering this card over at

I didn't think I'd say this so soon in April, but it is too hot, lol!  It reached 83 here yesterday.  It is warm and humid.  We may have some storms late this evening.  It feels tropical.  For the weekend, it will drop back down to the 50's.  Signs of spring are everywhere and I love seeing that the weeping cherry tree has bloomed.  I can view it out my craft room window, so pretty!

Ok, my friends, that's all for now.  I hope you have a great rest of the week!  Take care and thanks so much for dropping by today!
