Happy Birthday!

Hi, there!

It's been a little over a week since I posted here.  I recently received some goodies in the mail.  But, creating took a back seat to yard work and planting flowers.  I hope they stand up well to wind and storms.  They had terrible tornadoes yesterday and I checked on some family that are just a little south of Dayton, Ohio...all is well...thank the Lord!  My heart goes out to all those who have been affected with floods and tornadoes this spring season.  It's been really something and I just hope and pray that it gets better!

The butterfly die with the above card is from Lil' Inker.  I do love butterflies and this one is so easy peasy to create with for a CAS card.  CAS cards do not make it off my craft table very often, but this one did today!  I colored the wings with copics and applied Wink of Stella for shine.  The birthday sentiment is from PTI.  Gems were added to finish the card.  This card is going to my friend, Glenna.  I hope she likes it!  I'm entering my card over at Word Art Wednesday

A view of the inside of the card...

The sentiment is from PTI and the butterflies were made using a punch from MS.

Thanks so much for dropping by today!  Hope you have a wonderful week!  Take care, hugs!!

Magee Marsh and Grad card...

Hi, Friends!

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend!  It was a lovely perfect day yesterday.  It's back to rain again today.  But at least the temps are warmer and I don't think the rain will last long.  Since yesterday was a good day to go to Magee Marsh, we took a few photos of wildlife.  We love to go every spring to see the eagles, geese, goslings, rabbits.  And, if we are lucky, a deer at times might show it's face for the camera.  You may need to look closely, but you can see the eagle in the nest.  We forgot to take the telephoto lens for a closer pic, but you can still tell that there is one up there in the huge nest.

Next up, a family of geese...

The little goslings are so so cute!!

I managed to take a pic of a rabbit as it was running away...so fast!

And, here they are getting ready to take a dip in the water!

And, now I'd like to share with you a grad card for my great niece, Madisyn...

She played soccer and as you can see her number was 30.  All stamps, dies, and sequins are from Paper Sweeties except for the number 30, which is from TE.  The outfit and soccer ball are from the set Score.  The sentiments are from the set Congrats.  The Scallop frame is from the set Sweet Cuts-Rectangle Scallop Frames.  And, the sequins are Robin Egg and Blueberry.  I hope she likes the card!

And, here is Madisyn in her uniform...

Thanks so much for dropping by today!  Take care and have a great week!

Paper Sweeties May 2019-Release Rewind!

Welcome to Paper Sweeties Release Rewind!  Today is the day that we highlight the new released stamp set along with previously released stamp sets for our projects.  The new stamp sets this month are Truck Add-on: Life is an Adventure!  And, the coordinating die set is Sweet Cuts-Truck Add-on: Life is an Adventure.  The other set, which I highlighted a couple days ago is Basket Add on: Thinking of You and coordinating die set  Sweet Cuts-Basket Add on: Thinking of You.  Today, I am sharing a card made with the Truck Add-on:  Life is an Adventure along with a few previously released sets.  Abigail is having fun camping along with her two adorable pets!

For my card, I started with a white card base and paired it with royal blue.  The background was made using distress inks of broken china an twisted citron.  All images were water colored using my zig markers.  Abigail's outfit and flowers are from the set I Pick You.  The dog and cat are from the set Sweeties Pets.  The door of the camper was cut open to reveal the adorable pup inside.  The clouds are from the set Let's go to the Beach.

Another view of the card...

The sentiment, camper, and birds are from the new set Truck Add-on:  Life is an Adventure.  Twine and sequins(creamsicle) added to finish the card.  I love making scenery cards and had great fun with this one!  When we camped long ago, we took along our cocker spaniel and he did very well.  I guess he thought...wherever you go....I go.:-)  I sure do miss the little guy.  But, maybe in a couple years we will take up camping again, and we will be taking our little Sheila with us.

Paper Sweeties May 2019-Release Party!

Welcome to Paper Sweeties Release Party!  Today is the day to purchase the two new stamp/die sets, Basket Add-on: Thinking of You!  and Truck Add on: Life is an Adventure.

Today I am highlighting the new set Truck Add on:  Life is an Adventure.  Oh, such a fun set this was to create a camping scene!  We used to camp many years ago, but with busy schedules we decided to sell the camper.  We may start to camp once again when my husband retires.  I sure do miss the nature hikes, camp fires, riding our bikes...so fun!

And, here is my card...

For my card, I started with a white card base.  The background was made using distress inks of broken china, and twisted citron.  All images were colored with copics.  The camper, sentiments, and birds are from the new set.  The truck and trees are from a previously released set called Merry Christmas Y'all.  The clouds are from the set Let's go to the Beach, and the sun is from the set Island Time.  Sequins of cookie dough and robin egg, and bubblegum to finish the card.

Dies R Us Challenge-May 15, 2019!(Tags)

Hi, Friends!

Welcome to the Dies R Us Challenge once again for May!  The theme is Tags!

I think you probably know by now that I love Lawn Fawn!!  I recently purchased their super FUN tag set called ...Say What? Gift Tags.  I wanted to get these last Christmas, but I decided to wait.  They would be perfect for Christmas tags or any gift tag, of course!  Today, they will be gift tags for birthdays...

For my tags, I used Lawn Fawn paper.  I love the multi color background  to set the party scene!  The Lawn Fawn stamp set Party Animal was perfect for these birthday tags.  The chicks look too cute with their party hats.  And, the bear is ready to serve the birthday cake!  All images were colored with copics.  The shaker tags were filled with Paper Sweeties sequins of Cookie Dough, Robin Egg, Bubblegum, and Watermelon.  Twine to finish the tags.

Another view of the tags...

All dies that were used for my card with links are listed below.  I hope you create a project using dies and join us for the challenge!

Paper Sweeties May 2019-Release Sneak Peeks!

Hi, friends!

Welcome to Paper Sweeties May Release Sneak Peeks!

Debbie is releasing two new stamp/die sets this month called Basket Add-on: Thinking of You and Truck Add-on: Life is an Adventure.  Today, I made a card using the first stamp set that I mentioned along with the previously released Basket stamp set.  The new set has a beautiful bouquet of flowers and wonderful sentiments with lovely fonts.

And, here is my card...

For my card, I started with a white card base and paired it with paper from BoBunny.  The sign, bouquet of flowers, and sentiment are from the new set (Basket Add-on:  Thinking of You).  The lovely flowers were colored with copics.  And, they are perfect for a bouquet in a basket or vase, etc.  Sequins of Cookie Dough and Bubblegum were added for interest.  Sweet Cuts-Oval Scallop Frames was used to frame the sentiment.  Sweet Cuts- Sweet Borders was place under the basket for more detail.  Ribbon(Raspberry) and pearl cotton to finish the card.
