Happy Valentine's Day!

Hi Friends!

Hope all is well with you on this fine Sunday afternoon!  I just wanted to share this card with you that I made for a friend.  She loves to be outdoors.  In fact, she says she loves the four-letter word, SNOW...yikes!!!:-))  Oh, ok... I like snow too, but not when travelling.  In fact, the white stuff is in the air now.  Not too much, though, so that's ok!  Anyways, this sweet little stamp set is from Hero Arts.  I popped the little animals up on dimensionals.  Added gems, ribbon, and used a die cut for the grass.  Thanks for taking a peek here today.  Take care, hugs!!:-))

Happy Birthday!

Hi Again!

This is my second post for the day.  I quickly made up a birthday card for my sis-in-law.  I need to get this out in the mail.  This month just flew by!  Anyways, it's a fairly simple card, but I tried to pretty it up with the die, punch, and pearls.

Ok, I might have another post yet again today...stay tuned!:-)  Thanks for taking a peek here today, hugs!!:-))

Spiritual Retreat

We were fo follow this fun sketch over at Tuesday Morning
 Sketches!
Hello there!

Happy Saturday to you all!  I made this card for a co-worker who is going on a spiritual retreat.  Another co-worker is sponsoring her at work and asked us to bring in a card for her.  She will be surprised by all the cards while on the retreat.  It will be our way of saying we are thinking of her and supporting her!

I knew what stamp to use for this card.  It's a great verse that could be used for almost any occasion.  I had fun with the doily and fussy cutting the flowers.  Pearls, lace, ribbon, and sewing added to finish off the card.  Thanks for looking here today!  Take care and have a great weekend, hugs!

Happy Anniversary!

Time for another beautiful challenge at The Shabby Tea Room!
Here is the inspiration photo we were to follow...
And a close up view...

Hi there!

How's it going for ya?  Just another cloudy rainy day here in NW Ohio.  I had to chuckle when at work yesterday people are in complaining of their aches and pains.  And, they were saying I don't know why I'm having extra aches and pains.  So, I replied, we'll just have to blame it on the weather!:-)  Anyway, if you're in one of those sun shiny states, please send the sun this way!  We really do miss it!

Ok, on to my card now.  I stayed up late last night working on this card.  But, it went together fairly quickly.  I love working with cream, pink, and white, so this was right up my alley.  I used a new Martha Stewart punch.  Just love those tiny little butterflies!  I had fun adding the gems.  I'm thinking I should buy stock in those gems!:-)  Added ribbon, button, twine, and sewing to finish off my card.  I thank you for stopping by today!  Take care and enjoy your day, hugs!!:-))

Friend

A sweet project I made for a friend for Valentine's Day!

Hi Again!

Just a quick post here this evening.  I decorated this jar for a friend and filled it with gems.  She is a beginner at making cards and wanted to know where to buy gems.  So, I bought lots of gems and filled this jar to give to her.  The jar is actually a candle jar that I bought at Michael's.  But, I thought what a pretty jar, and it will do just fine for my project.  Until next time, take care and have a wonderful week, hugs!!:-))

Be Mine!

A fun sketch over at Tuesday Morning Sketches!

Hi Friends!

I thank so many of you who gave well wishes and prayers for my mother-in-law.  She is on the road to recovery and is still in the hospital.  But, she is doing better with each new day!  Thank you!

I hope you are keeping warm in your part of the world!  It is 19 degrees here in NW Ohio...brrrr.  And, we are due for some more snow.  We had a little bit yesterday with a touch of ice.  I had to scrape my windows after getting out of work yesterday.  Isn't winter fun?!:-) But, we really have been lucky with a fairly mild winter so far in my neck of the woods.

Ok, now on to my card.  I couldn't wait to color up this little beauty.  Isn't she a little cutie?!  I had fun using doily dies, twine, and gems for this lovey dovey card!  Red and pink are some of my favorite colors and I  can't wait to make more valentine cards.  Thanks for stopping by today!  Take care and have a wonderful weekend, hugs!!:-))

You're Lovely

A sewing theme this week at The Shabby Tea Room!
And, the lovely inspiration photo!

Hi there!

I certainly wanted to get here sooner to post this card.  I think I am getting just under the wire to enter this awesome challenge!  I was so inspired to go shabby chic.  I love the colors and the little pink rose flowers on the carpet.  My card is self-explanatory being that I stamped, added embellishments, and sewed.  And, aren't those gold leaves from Prima just divine?!

As I previously said, I wanted to get here sooner.  We spent most of the weekend visiting my mother-in-law in the hospital.  She is doing better.  I hope she continues with a speedy recovery.  Please keep her in your prayers.  I'd appreciate it!  Thanks so much for taking a peek here today.  Take care and have a wonderful week...hugsss!

Amour

Am back again for a challenge over at Tuesday Morning Sketches.
Here is the sketch we were to follow....

First attempt...

Hi Friends!

Happy New Year to all!  Are you getting used to writing 2012 instead of 2011?  I forgot a couple of times while at work Tuesday and Wednesday.  Hopefully by next week I won't write 2011!:-)

Anyways, this card gave me a little trouble.  I just wasn't happy with my first attempt.  So, what do you think?  Do you like the final card better?  I love the colors red and black and had fun making this card.  The stamps are so lovely with a Parisian theme.  And, one cannot go wrong with that theme for a valentine card!  Well, I need to scoot and work on laundry.  Thanks so much for stopping by!  Take care and enjoy your weekend, hugs!!:-))
