St. Pat's Day!

Hi Friends!

How are you on this fine Wednesday afternoon?  We got some
luck of the Irish and didn't get the snow/ice that was due for
this area.  We had freezing rain last Friday morning.  I had
to go into work for some training, and it was very slippery
on the roads.  So, we're happy and doing an Irish jig for
not getting more nasty weather!:-)

But, anyways, I had some fun over the weekend
creating these St. Pat's cards.  Each card is just a "wee" bit
different!:-)  I used My Mind's Eye papers, twine, gems, and
a couple of my favorite punches to makes these cards.

Well, I hate to make this post short and sweet, but I have a
few other things to do yet before going into a meeting for
work.  I hope you all are having a great day!  And, I'll be
taking a look at your fab creations very soon!  Thanks
for dropping by...take care...hugs!

Sweet Silhouette...

Hi Friends!

How's your weekend going?  It's a bit chilly here.
But, it's brighter weather than yesterday and less
windy.  We had snow squalls that presented a big
problem for drivers.  The roads were quite icy with
white outs from the snow. So, there were many
accidents.  I'm glad we weren't out at that time.  We
went out later in the afternoon to dinner and movie.
We saw an action packed movie, Die Hard.  Talk
about problem for drivers...hehehe!  Anyways, it
was a good movie with some cute story lines re-
garding father/son bonding!

Ok, onto my card.  I'm entering this card in the
challenge at the The Shabby Tea Room.  The
stamp silhouette is from Close to My Heart.  I
colored the flowers with copic markers.  A doily
was placed behind and pearls added around the
frame.  More pearls to the center of the flowers.
Flower trim and ribbon to pretty up the card.
And, the Mind's Eye lovely paper already had
a sweet sentiment printed...every day is a special
occasion.  Don't you agree?  I hope you have a
special kind of occasion day!  Thanks so much
for dropping by today!  Take care, hugs!

Warmest Wishes...

The beautiful inspiration photo we were to follow...

Happy Saturday!

How's your day going so far?  Hope it's a great weekend
for ya!  It's a sun shiny day here.  It's so good to see the
sunshine!  And, my thoughts and prayers do go out to all
of those on the east coast for the terrible blizzard they are
experiencing...please take care...stay safe!

I want to share with you a card I made for the
The Shabby Tea RoomI purchased some new stamps
recently from SU and immediately fell in love with
this new stamp set.  I'm sure I'll be using it a lot!
I wanted dimension, so I backed the frame with
cardboard.  I popped the frame and sentiment up
on dimensionals.  I used several flowers as you can
see with the pinks and the one white Prima flower, which
was inspired from the lovely inspiration photo.  I mixed
white and pinks for the ribbon treatment, also.  SU
dazzling details was placed on the flowers and frame
for the shiny glitter effect.  Lace, buttons, and gems
to finish my card.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend.  Thanks so
much for dropping by today, hugs!

Valentines...

Baby afghan for great niece, Elizabeth.

Sweet Valentines for great nieces, Alayna, Allison,
 and Elizabeth.

Hi there!

How are you doing today?  I finally mailed out a project
that took me far too long to finish.  My great niece,
Elizabeth, was born several months ago.  And, I finally
mailed out the afghan to her along with cute little CAS
Valentines for her and her sisters.  I can't remember when
I made a card so simple, but I did want to get them out in
the mail today.  I came up with this simple design and put
a little something inside for their piggy banks.  They live
in Michigan and I don't often see the little darlings.  I'm
sure they will have lots of fun on Valentine's Day!

My cards were so easy to make with Bazzill white base.
I used SU heart punch, pearls from Queen&Company, and
twine from Doodlebug.  I can't tell ya how relieved I was
when I mailed this package today...hehehe!  I have
another niece that is due in May with a boy.  Yikes,
I better get started on another afghan to finish it in time!

Well, that's it for now.  Thank you for viewing the afghan
and cards I made!  Hope you are having fun with your
crafts!  Take care and have a wonderful week, hugs!

Friend...

Hi Friends!

How's your Superbowl Sunday going today?  I'm not a big fan
of either team that is playing today, so may the best team win!
I will watch the game off and on while organizing my flower
collection.  I bought some containers at Jo-Ann Fabric the
other day that were on sale. This little craft room of mine
needs some major organization!

Anyways, I got going with my crafty fingers and made
another Valentine card.  This card is being entered over
at The Dynamic Duos.    We were to follow the above
colors of real red and pretty in pink.

I punched several hearts using my SU punch.  I love
this punch since it makes three different sizes of hearts
at one time.  The patterned paper is from Crate Paper
(Fourteen), which is such a sweet line of Valentine paper!
Pearls, ribbon, and pearl cotton to finish the card.

Thanks so much for dropping by and have a wonderful
week, hugs!
