Happy Birthday!

Hi, there!

Just popping in quick to share with you a card I made for my niece.  I used the Pretty Pink Posh dies for the images.  The background die is from Pink Fresh and the birthday sentiment is from Hero Arts, I think.  I have that stamp set packed away at the moment for I'm going on a craft retreat this weekend.  I hope my hip holds up, but it's just here in town and I'll be coming home at night since I haven't been sleeping the best.  I have a hip replacement scheduled for 5-29.

I just realized that I think I have the butterfly upside down?  Should the large wings be at the top?  It's just like me, I get turned upside down at times, lol!

Ok, friends that's all for now.  Time to check on the laundry.  Take care and thanks so much for taking the time to drop by today!

Thinking of you!

Hi, Friends!

Happy Tuesday to you!  I made the above card for a friend who is having some health issues.  I thought this spring card might cheer her up.

I made the clouds using a stencil from Pretty Pink Posh.  The bird and branch was made from a SU punch.  The flowers are from Lawn Fawn. The fence die is from MFT.  The sentiment is from The Greetery.

It's another cold day here in NW Ohio.  It's very windy, too.  Where is spring?!  I'll be happy when the temps are more stable.  We have had extreme temp changes from nearly 70's to 40's.  I have one daffodil blooming at this time.  I'm looking forward to having more bloom and I can hardly wait until our weeping cherry tree blooms.  Hubby plans to mow the lawn this week, too, if he can miss the rain.  I'm sure things will even out soon for it is April after all.

Ok, that's all for today, friends!  I hope you are having a wonderful day!  Thanks so much for dropping by, take care!

Happy Easter!

Hello, Friends!

Are you ready for Easter?  Just a couple weeks away and the day will be here.  Easter is one holiday that I take the day off from cooking, yeah!  We go out to one of our favorite restaurants and eat delicious food!  Whatever you have planned for the special holiday I hope you have a great day!

The above card is one that was sent out to a my friend, Greta.  She gave me the pretty embossed panel, so I thought I'd make a card for her with it.  Thank you, Greta!  The new butterflies are from Lawn Fawn.  Aren't those the sweetest little butterflies?!  The sentiment is from Simon Says.  I sponged the butterflies with distress ink.  Gold dots to finish the card.

I'm entering this card over at the NBUS Challenge and The Four Seasons Challenge.

Anything Spring

Ok, friends.  Have a happy crafty day!  Thanks so much for dropping by today, take care!

Happy Birthday!

Hi, Friends!

How are things with you on this fine Tuesday afternoon?  I decided to use some neglected supplies and bring out my zig markers to water color the above card.  I also used distress sprays of yellow, gold, and white.  I believe I was heavy-handed with the yellow spray.  The spray really does have a mind of its own at times, lol!  Anyways, I was happy with the gold embossing of the pretty flowers from Creative Worship Stamps formerly called Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps.  The sentiment is from MFT.  Gems were added to finish the card.

It was fun getting out today with going to our hair appointments and having lunch afterwards.  Making the above card this afternoon was fun, too.  Now it's time to do some work around here.  The laundry is calling so I'll scoot for now.

Thanks so much for dropping by today!  Take care and have a wonderful evening!

Thinking of you!

Hello!

Popping in quick to share with you a card I made for a friend to cheer her up after she had surgery.  I just love the background tulip die, which is from Pink Fresh Studio.  The scallop oval frame is from Newton's Nook and the tulip dies are from Pretty Pink Posh.  The tulips were colored using distress inks.

I'm entering this card over at The Four Seasons Challenge.

I'm also entering this card over at Darnell's I.D.E.A.S Challenge

I want to get back into my craft room soon, but I'm working on organizing and cleaning my copic markers.  I had to take a break from it for it is a big job since I have so many markers.

A little other cleaning around the house with the linen closet and junk drawer.  I'd rather be crafting than cleaning, right?!

Ok, that's all for now.  I hope you all have a great rest of the week!  Thanks so much for dropping by, take care!

Happy Spring!

Hi, Friends!

I thought I'd drop in quick to share with you a couple spring decorations that I made.  I bought the small wall hanging from Hobby Lobby and got to work with a pretty panel from Bella Blvd.  The die cut script spring was made using an Echo Park die.  The butterflies were punched using a Martha Stewart punch.  Sequins from Gina K to finish the little decoration that I'll be giving to my friend, Pat, when I meet her for lunch on Thursday.

Next up, is a decoration for Easter that I made using retired Paper Smooches images.

All images are from Paper Smooches except for the butterfly.  The grass was made using a die cut from MFT.

I'm enjoying the day here in my craft room looking out at the trees that are budding.  Spring is just around the corner.  I can hardly wait to see the spring flowers bloom.  Take care and have a great rest of the week!

Happy St. Patrick's Day from the Patrick's!!!

Happy Birthday!

Hi, Friends!

Just popping in quick to share with you a card I made for a great nephew.  This card was so easy to make.  Lots of fun stickers and colorful paper for this birthday card.  The paper and stickers are from Echo Park.

I've had some trouble with my computer and email.  I don't understand it at times and I wish I did.  My son is coming up this weekend, so I hope he can figure it out.  One good thing about this week is the weather.  We may even hit the 70's by Friday...yeah!  A friend of ours has a birthday on that day, so it will be a great day to go out.  My hubby's bday is tomorrow.  We will be celebrating both at the same time.  We are looking forward to it!

Well, not much else going on around here.  I hope you have a great rest of the week, take care!

Happy Birthday!

Hi, Friends!

How are you on this fine Monday afternoon?  It's a sunny day here and the ice and snow is melting, thank goodness!  I know of two people who have fallen on the ice recently, not good!  Anyways, it's wonderful to have warmer temps this week in the 40's!

But weather aside, I'm here to share with you a card I made for a friend's birthday for next month.  I used my new Pretty Pink Posh dies, Spring Mug Additions.  The background die cut was made using a die from Memory Box.  Sequins from Gina K to finish the card.  I'm entering this card over at NBUS.

Thanks so much for dropping by today!  Have a great rest of the week!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Hi, there!

I'd like to share with you a couple St. Patrick's Day cards today!

First up, the above card is for my hubby and it is a mix of products!  The cute little leprechaun face is from Waffle Flower, but the body is from Paper Smooches.  The awesome pop-up clover panel die is from Waffle Flower, also.

Next up, is a card for my son.

The fun leprechaun is put all together on this image unlike the first card.  He was colored with copics.  The arch die is from Pink Fresh.

It's a good day to be inside away from the weather outside for we have an ice storm warning in effect until the morning.  I hope we don't get too much ice to bring on power outages.  I saw a message on facebook today saying only five more Mondays until spring.  It's certainly something to look forward to!

Ok, friends!  That's all for today.  I hope you have a great rest of the week, take care!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Hi, Friends!

I'm back again with more Valentine cards.  It's hard to resist not creating with the fun and cute images from Lawn Fawn. Love those sweet strawberries!  The heart circle frame is from Lawn Fawn, also.

Next up,

Another card using the same circle frame.  The heart image is from Lawn Fawn, too.  I had a Pink Fresh cover die already adhered to the base of the card, but I didn't like how it looked.  I let some of it peek through and added heart design paper over it.  It still may look too busy, but I do like the heart paper more for the background.

Last card,

For my last card today, I used a rose image from Newton's Nook.  The heart die is from Newton's Nook, also.  I used a scallop die from Pretty Pink Posh for the sentiment.  The roses were colored with copics and gems added to the centers for the final touch.

Just one more thing to share...

We have a new kitty added to our family.  It came to the back door a couple weeks ago out in the frigid cold.  We took it in and our vet's office posted it online to see if it was anyone's kitten.  We also asked at a couple shelters.  We weren't going to keep her, but the shelters were full.  We took her to the vet for her vaccinations and to make sure that she wasn't pregnant.  So, we now have a new kitten about a year old named Coco!  She seems to be getting along quite well with our other cat, Nicky.  Both cats are of great comfort to us especially after our dog, Sheila, passed away last month.

                           Coco

Randy, me, and Nicky

Ok, friends, that's all for today. Thanks so much for dropping by today! I hope you all are doing well and staying warm!  Take care!

Hugs and Love!

Hi, Friends!

I continue to work on Valentine cards.  It's been great card therapy for me lately.  My sweet mother-in-law, Ann, passed away recently.  She was a nurse for many years and gave excellent care!  She will be dearly missed by many!

For, my card I used the new Newton's Nook stamp set and die.  I had fun coloring the cute images with my copics.  I'm sure these images could be used for birthdays or an anniversary, too.

We are getting snow here today.  It certainly looks and feels like winter!  My sis went to Florida in November.  She came back just for Christmas and I'm sure she's happy missing all this snow and cold.  I don't mind the snow, but when freezing drizzle is in the mix it's not a good thing.  We are expecting freezing drizzle tonight.

I hope you all are doing well and have a great weekend!  Thanks so much for taking the time to drop by today!  Take care!

Happy Heart Day!

Hi, Friends!

It's been a couple weeks since I've been here.  Christmas season is always very busy, but it was a great celebration with family and friends!  And, I'm wishing you all a blessed happy healthy new year!

For my card as seen above, I have a mix of products.  The new ones that I used are the Lawn Fawn strawberry images, bow, and sentiment.  The circles are from Pretty Pink Posh and the heart frame is from Waffle Flower.  Those sweet strawberries were so fun to color!  Yum yum for chocolate covered strawberries!

I'm entering this card over at the NBUS Challenge

I think a lot of the country is cold...brrr!  We are to have some snow for Ohio, but I think it will miss us.  I'm already looking forward to spring.  How about you?

I thank you very much for taking the time to drop by today!  Have a great week, take care!

Hugs!
