Happy Birthday!

Hi, there!

I hope all is going well your way!  It's so strange how quickly the weather can change.  We had lots of rain here and a thunderstorm pretty much all night long.  There was some flooding and a road closed when I needed to go into town this morning.  The sun is shining with blue skies right now.  We're not done with storms yet for we may get more tonight.

Anyways, I'd like to share with you a card I made for my son's birthday for next month.  He has a red motorcycle, so I colored it red with copic markers.  The image is from Jillian Vance Designs.  A couple dots to finish the card.

Just one more photo.  Our Nicky loves to jump in our laundry baskets.  The look on his face I think is...I dare for you to try to get me out of here, lol!  We've had him for a couple years now and he has settled down quite a bit.  He still loves to look for rubber bands that I have around my craft items.  I have changed to paper clips or tape.  I never had a cat before that went after rubber bands the way he does, silly kitty, lol!

Ok, that's all for now.  I hope you have a great weekend!  Thanks so much for dropping by today!  Take care!

Hugs!

Vacation and a card...

Hi, Friends!

We returned home from a wonderful vacation in Turks and Caicos!  We had a great time with our son and his friend.  Just a gorgeous ocean with the prettiest color of aqua!

This was our view from our room.  The weather was hot with high humidity and it
felt great swimming in the warm ocean!

We only had one rain day, but it was a great opportunity to take photos.
My son, Jeremy, his friend, Ryan, and husband to the right.

We are enjoying a dinner with the sun setting in the background.

The water is clear and sand is soft.

And, a special highlight of the trip was meeting
Sue Lelli.  She is a long time crafty blog friend.  She
came to Turks and Caicos a couple days before
we left and we met for dinner.  Our hubbies
came along, too.  We enjoyed delicious food
and had a great time!!

We hope to return one day again to the
beautiful island of Turks and Caicos!

Ok, you still with me?  If so, thank you!  I won't bore you with more vacation photos, but I do have one more thing to share.  I went to a crop at the end of July and made many cards.  I'd like to share with you the fall birthday card I made.

The image from SSS.  The frame is from PTI.

Ok, that's all for now.  Thanks so much for taking the time to drop by!  Have a great rest of the week!

Sending Caring Thoughts...

Hi, Friends!

Happy Friday to you!  I hope you're having a wonderful weekend so far!  I'm back again with another sunflower card.  My previous card used the sunflower stamp from PPP.  For the above card, I used the sunflower stencil from PPP.  The frame die is from PTI.

We did manage to visit the sunflower farm again this year and enjoyed a tractor ride viewing the beautiful sunflowers!  There were photo op places, so we snapped a few pics.  It was a hot day in the sun, but we are happy that we visited since it was the last day.  In the first pic below, you can see that the sunflowers are ready to be harvested.

About a million sunflowers are in the field.  It looks so amazing and very beautiful!  Ok, that's all for now.  Thanks so much for taking the time to drop by!  Have a wonderful weekend!

Hugs!
