Popping in quick to share one card before Thanksgiving.  This is a card I sent to my sis-in-law, Angie and her husband, Ted.  All images and sentiment are from Paper Sweeties.

We had our Thanksgiving early last weekend. We will be meeting up with more family this coming week.

I'm so thankful for all my family and friends!  May all of you in the USA have a wonderful happy blessed Thanksgiving!  Take care!

Happy Birthday!

Hi, Friends!

Popping in today to share with you two birthday cards that I made for December birthdays.  The first one is for my sis, Lucretia, and the second one is for my friend, Peggi.

For the above card I used Mama Elephant poinsettia images and colored them with copics.  The birthday sentiment is from PI.  The scalloped background panel was die cut using a die from Mama Elephant.  Gems to finish the card.

Next up is the birthday card for Peggi...

For this card, I used poinsettia images from Altenew.  The same birthday sentiment from PTI.  The scalloped oval die is from Paper Sweeties.  I have mixed feelings about this card since I had a smudge of gold on the side of the card.  I thought...really?!  So, I thought ok, what would Maria do?  Uh huh, Maria always adds on, lol!  So, I tried to make it look like it was intended to have an artsy look to it.  I think I like it the more I stare at it.  What do you think?

Ok, that's all for today.  I'm not sure if I'll be posting anymore before Thanksgiving, so I wish for you all a very blessed Thanksgiving with your families and friends!  Thanks so much for visiting here today!  It's appreciated!  Take care!

Hugs!

Hi, friends!

Welcome to Paper Sweeties November Release Rewind!  I hope you've enjoyed all the inspiration from the team for the new release so far.  Today, for the rewind we combine previously released sets with the new sets.

Debbie is releasing two new stamp/die sets this month called Truck Add on: Occasions and Blessed  Today, I am highlighting both sets.  The first set has images and sentiments for several occasions!  And, the second set has many one word sentiments in a large font for many occasions.

For my card, I started with a cream card base.  The patterned paper is from Echo Park.  Jake and Emma are dressed in their fall outfits(I'm Nuts about You) holding a thankful sign.  The sentiments on the side border of the card...family....friends are from the same set. The leaf on their sweaters are from the set Sweater Weather.  The sentiment is from the new set Blessed.  The pumpkins and haystacks are from the set Scarecrow.

Paper Sweeties November 15, 2019-Release Party!

Hi, friends!

Welcome to Paper Sweeties November Release Party!

Debbie is releasing two new stamp/die sets this month called Truck Add on: Occasions and Blessed  Today, I am highlighting both sets.  The first set has images and sentiments for several occasions!  And, the second set has many one word sentiments in a large font for many occasions.  I'll be reaching for these wonderful sets time and time again for my crafting projects!

For my card, I started with a burgundy card base.  Madison is dressed in her fall outfit(Happy Fall Y'all) ready to buy fresh apples and pumpkins at the farmer's market.  The basket of apples is from the same set.  It is a blessing indeed to have fresh apples and pumpkins.  We had our apple festival here in town last month, which is always a wonderful annual event.  My son invited two friends and we went for fried veges, apple dumplings, apple cider, and apple butter.  A bag of apples to take home, too!  And, just down the road from us is Jason's Pumpkin Patch.  We buy several pumpkins to decorate in front of our house.

The pumpkins on the card are from the new set Truck Add on: Occasions.  The sentiment is from the new set Blessed.  The sentiments were embossed in gold.  I wanted more dimension so I went over the sentiments with gold Nuvo drops.  The bird with heart is from the set Treat Box Add-on: Home&Garden.  The background was made with distress inks of mustard seed and spiced marmalade.  I splattered orange and brown acrylic paint.  Wink of Stella was added to all images to finish the card.

Randy is carrying all the apple butter everyone bought.  Jeremy
is carrying the bag with the apple cider.
From Left to Right:  Matt, Ethan, Randy(my hubby), Jeremy(my son)

So thankful for all my family and friends!

Dies R Us Challenge November 15, 2019(Giving Thanks and/or Turkey)

Hi, Friends!

Welcome to the Dies R Us Challenge once again for November!  The theme is Giving Thanks and/or Turkey!  We ask that you use at least one metal die to be eligible for the prize.

I decided to use a thankful die and a turkey on my card.  I was at a craft retreat in September and bought the pumpkin background paper.  The place where we go for the retreat is here in town and called Inspiration Inn Bloom.  It has a great store!  I wanted to buy all the paper!:-))  I went there twice this year and had a great time!

For my card, I started with a tan card base and paired it with pumpkin DP from Imaginisce.  The turkey die is from Memory Box.  And, it was colored with copics.  The turkey was placed against scalloped circles from Lawn Fawn.  The pumpkins are from Cheery Lynn Design.  The Thankful die sentiment is from Frantic Stamper.  Dots and ribbon to finish the card.

All dies that were used for my card with links are listed below.  I hope you create a project using dies and join us for the challenge!

There are so many choices at Dies R Us store!  Hope you check out the store for  amazing selection of dies, stamps, papers, inks, etc.!  I'd love to see your project in the challenge...happy creating!
