Hi, there!

Lots going on here for Christmas week.  Last minute shopping and baking here at our house!  We also made a delivery to the kennel that takes care of Sheila when we are away on our trips.  I need to drop one off to the vet, too!  We made two small trips this year to a lodge in Ohio and another trip when we visited our son for a few days.  Maybe next year we'll be able to travel more.  Anyways, I was able to capture a darling photo of our dog, Sheila!  It took a couple of tries to get the right photo.  I'm not sure what she is thinking.  I can only guess that she is thinking...Really, Mom?!...hehehe!  I made this card and packaged up cookies and treats to give to the gals at the kennel.

Some of you may have already seen this photo on instagram.  The scallop rectangle frame is from Paper Sweeties.  And, the paw prints are from the set Sweeties Pets!  The plaid paper is from MME.  A bow at the top of the card for the finishing touch.

I have the copic multiliner SP Pen-Brush in the photo because it is a new wonderful pen for me.  I love how you can use it to color in fine areas or large areas!  It was perfect for coloring in the paw prints!  Maybe you already know of this great pen, but if not, I thought I'd pass it along.

Well, it's time for me to bake those gingerbread cookies that my son always requests at Christmastime.  I hope you all are doing well!  Merry Christmas!!  Take care, hugs!!

25 Days of Christmas with Paper Sweeties!

HELLO!!

I'm back again
It's a FUN & INSPIRATIONAL 25 Days with a NEW Project shared Daily!!
You can find the Schedule Below!!
Here is my project for today!!

I made a gingerbread treat box!  The box was die cut using Sweet Cuts-Treat Box.  The roof was die cut using Treat Box Add-on:  Home&Garden.  It was then painted with Acrylic Pearlescent white paint.  And, the candy pieces were made using the stamp set Gingerbread House.

The cute little ginger was die cut out of felt using Basket Add-on: Bake with Love.  All images were colored with copics.  Lots of trims added and raspberry seam binding ribbon from Paper Sweeties to finish the treat box.  I was quite pleased how this box turned out.  I'm not sure if I'll keep it or give it away as a Christmas gift.  Oh, what to do...what to do, lol!

Dies R Us Challenge December 15, 2020!(Winter Wonderland)

It's time for another Dies R Us Challenge!  And, the theme is (Winter Wonderland). We ask that you use at least one die on your project.  Come and join the fun and have a chance to win a gift certificate...enjoy creating!

I decided to make a winter wonderland card filled with animals of deer, bunnies, and cardinals.  I'm not sure if I'll keep this to send as a birthday card or give it to my sis who loves snow, lol!  When I was young, I loved the snow.  But, now that I'm older it's not fun going out into the snow and cold.  I do enjoy looking at it, though, outside my window in my warm home!  The sentiment is from Elizabeth Craft Design.  The birch trees are from Lawn Fawn.  The deer trio are from IO and the baby bunnies are from Memory Box.  The snowflakes and inside sentiment are from Avery Elle.

All dies that were used for my card with links are listed below.  I hope you create a project using dies and join us for the challenge!

Dies R Us has a sister store with warehouses in the USA and Canada called Didi Crafts

It will ship to both the US and Canada.  Didi Crafts will carry some of the same products as DRU, but most will be different.  Now our Canadian friends don't have to worry about huge taxes or shipping fees. How great is that!?!

My teammates have some fabulous inspiration for you today.  Sit back, relax, and take a look.... (you can click on their name to go to their personal blogs and get more detailed information about each project)

25 Days of Christmas with Paper Sweeties!

HELLO!!

I
I'm back again
It's a FUN & INSPIRATIONAL 25 Days with a NEW Project shared Daily!!
You can find the Schedule Below!!
Here are my projects for today!!

For my card, I started with a blue card base and stamped with the background with snowflakes from the set Deck the Halls.  The bird and sentiments are from the same set.  The darling reindeer and holly are from the set Jingle all the Way.   I die cut the window by using Sweet Cuts-Rectangle Scallop Frames.  The trees are from the set Merry Christmas Y'll.  The string of lights are from the set Basket Add-on:  Baked with Love.  The background behind the deer was made with DO salty ocean, wilted violet, and cracked pistachio.  White acrylic paint was splattered to the background.

Next up...

Two simple Christmas cards with Echo park paper.  I just thought the paper was so pretty.  And, since I have tons of design paper, I decided to cut into it!  Yes, don't fall off your chair....two simples cards from me, lol!  Anyways, I wanted the paper to shine and added die cut labels from the set With Heartfelt Thoughts.  The sentiment is from the same set. The bow is from the set Sweet Cuts-Stitched Tags #2- mitten/tree.  Strawberry sequins and Green Apple sequins from Paper Sweeties, also.  I grew up in a large family of seven children.  We can remember my Dad saying at times...."I just want some peace".  So, my sisters and I laugh about it at times.  My Dad is no longer with us, but I'm sure he's up in heaven having his peace.  He was the kindest loving person, so sweet!  The world certainly could use more peace at this time.  I pray for more peaceful times and for all to have a blessed peaceful Christmas!

25 Days of Christmas with Paper Sweeties!

HELLO!!

Today is my day to share for the 25 Days of Christmas with Paper Sweeties!!
It's a FUN & INSPIRATIONAL 25 Days with a NEW Project shared Daily!!
You can find the Schedule Below!!
Here are my projects for today!!

I decided to make a wall hanging project using one of my favorite sets!  I embossed the sentiment in white and splattered white acrylic paint for the background.  The truck, trees, and sentiment are from the set Merry Christmas Y'all.  The gift in the back of the truck is from the set Snow Time.  Buffalo plaid ribbon, holly, and gold dots to finish the wall hanging.

Next up...

I thought I'd make a couple of tags using the same stamp set.  The tag die cut is from the set For You.  The backgrounds were sponged lightly with DO abandoned coral and twisted citron.  Twine, gold dots, and mini jingle bells to top off the tags.  One can never have enough tags!
