Sending Sunshine!

Hi, there!

Just popping in quick to share with you a card I made.  We have been having overload on the rain...wow!  Last week many in town had some flooding.  My friend had damage to her furnace and water heater.  We were praying that our sump pump wouldn't go out on us!  Anyways, I was in the mood to make a sunshine card for my friend.  One good thing is that the temps are comfortable.

I'm entering this card over at Word Art Wednesday

For my card, I started with a white card base and stamped the flowers onto the background.  I just love those sweet little flowers! I colored the centers with a red copic marker.  The frame is from the set Sweet Cuts-Rectangle Scallop Frames.  The shaker mix of strawberry and cookie dough sequins are from Paper Sweeties, also.  The sun and sentiment is from the set Somewhere over the Rainbow.  The pots and flowers are from the set Treat Box Add-on: Home&Garden.  I hope my friend feels the sunshine with this card!

Paper Sweeties June 2018-Release Rewind!

Hi, there!

Welcome to Paper Sweeties Release Rewind!  Today I am sharing a project made with the new treat box add on:  Home & Garden!  So many sweet details to add when making the treat box!  But, today I am sharing with you a shaker card using the add on images with the window, fence, tree, bird, and flowers.  Since today is the Release Rewind, we combine the new release with previously released sets.

And, here is my shaker card...

For my card, I started with  a white card base and paired it with a water colored panel using distress inks.  I used the Sweet Cuts-Circle Scallop Frames for the frame.  The house and hearts are from the set Somewhere over the Rainbow.   The sentiment is from the set Hay Y'all, which was released last month, and stamped on the banner die cut from the set Sweet Cuts-Be Happy.  The ribbon (Raspberry) and sequins are from Paper Sweeties, also.  The sequins are Raspberry, Bubblegum, and Marshmallow.  I had lots of fun making this shaker card!  Lots of pink on this card.  I bet you can guess that it's one of my favorite colors!

Hi, there!

Welcome to Paper Sweeties Release Party!  Today I am back again with two projects highlighting the new Treat Box Add-on: Home & Garden along with the coordinating dies Sweet cuts: Treat Box Add-on: Home & Garden.  It's available for purchase today!  Yesterday, I decorated a treat box along with a tag.  Today, I have another treat box with a birthday card.  The treat box would be perfect to hide something special for the birthday person such as jewelry, gift card, or candy!

And, here are my projects...

For my card, I started with a brown card base.  I paired it with Doodlebug and Bazzill paper.  The brick background panel behind the pot of flowers was made using the new set.  I used distress inks, also.  To make the frames I used the set Sweet Cuts-Rectangle Scallop Frames.  The happy birthday sentiment is from Planner Series: Celebrate .  The sentiment on the treat box is from the set Stand Add-on: Fresh Baked.  The sequins (Strawberry) and ribbon (Cookie Dough) are from Paper Sweeties, too.  I had tons of fun making these treat box projects for today and yesterday!

Paper Sweeties June 2018-Release Sneak Peeks!

Hi, there!

Welcome to Paper Sweeties Release Sneak Peeks!  Debbie has a new Treat Box Add-on:  Home & Garden set with coordinating dies to go with the treat box that was released last month! They will be available tomorrow to purchase!

I had so much fun decorating the treat box with the many images that come along with this wonderful set!  And, of course, the set would be perfect to make a card and/or a tag.  I decided to make a tag to go along with the treat box.

And, here are my projects...

For my treat box, I started with a kraft base.  All the images are from the Treat Box Add-on: Home & Garden and were die cut with coordinating die cuts Sweet Cuts-Treat box Add-on: Home & Garden.  The tag was die cut by using Sweet Cuts-For You and the sweet die cut sentiment is from Sweet Cuts-Treat Box that was released last month.  The stamped sentiment on the tag is from Sending Sweet Thoughts.  A red clothes pin, twine, and ribbon Cookie Dough to finish the projects.

Happy Father's Day!

Hi, Friends!

I'm sharing with you today a Father's Day card for my husband.  The background was water colored using distress inks.  All products are from Paper Sweeties and the links are shown below.

My husband is a #1 Dad to our son, Jeremy.  He is proving that today by making his second trip to Lowe's with Jeremy.  He is helping him to improve his trailer cart to travel with his motorcycle.  My husband has the patience of Job...lol!  Anyways, just wishing all the Dads out there an early Happy Father's Day!

A photo of my husband and son with the trailer cart.  They still aren't finished with it, but they agreed to a photo.

Happy Birthday!

Hi, there!

Hope your day is going well on this fine Thursday afternoon!  I'm just popping in quick to share with you a tag I made for a friend for her birthday!  I haven't done cross stitch in ages, but it was very relaxing and fun!  I used some of her favorite colors and added balloons from Paper Sweeties.  The cross stitch panel is from MFT.   And, I followed the owl pattern on a card made by Stephanie Klauck.  Ribbon to finish the tag.  And, here is my tag...

Well, time to scoot.  I picked up some fresh strawberries yesterday  and made short cake, so dessert with the strawberries was very yummy.  Now it's time to take some strawberries to a friend.  Thanks so much for dropping by!  Have a wonderful day!

Hugs,
Maria

Paper Sweeties Plan Your Life Series-June 2018!

Paper Sweeties Plan Your Life Series-June!

Hi, Friends!

Happy June 1st!  It's the month of graduations and weddings!  I went with a graduation theme for my planner this month.  Abigail is dressed in her gown ready to follow her dreams! I have two great nephews, Blake and Joey, who are graduating this month!  I can barely remember my graduating day, which was many years ago!  I hope and pray that they follow their dreams and have great success!

Blake will be attending Bowling Green University and Joey will be attending Ohio State University in the fall.  Joey's father, Darrell, is a huge Michigan football fan.  But, I say, Joey must follow his dreams.  I'm thinking he chose the right school...lol!

As you can see on my planner pages, little Abigail is ready to graduate.  The little owls and paper are from Doodlebug.

I have two posts today, so please scroll down to see my DRU card, too!

And, now a closer peek at my planner pages...

I have Abigail  in her graduation gown, which is from the set ConGRADulations.  I used the set Be Happy for the stars.  I used a sentiment from the set Best Dad to stamp on 6-17 for Father's Day.

I had lots of fun decorating my planner for June!
I hope you
check out our planner stamps and have fun decorating your
planner, too!
