Hope your day is going well on this fine Thursday afternoon! I'm just popping in quick to share with you a tag I made for a friend for her birthday! I haven't done cross stitch in ages, but it was very relaxing and fun! I used some of her favorite colors and added balloons from Paper Sweeties. The cross stitch panel is from MFT. And, I followed the owl pattern on a card made by Stephanie Klauck. Ribbon to finish the tag. And, here is my tag...
Well, time to scoot. I picked up some fresh strawberries yesterday and made short cake, so dessert with the strawberries was very yummy. Now it's time to take some strawberries to a friend. Thanks so much for dropping by! Have a wonderful day!
I did die cut the MFT cross stitch tag, but it's just sitting on my table still! You've inspired me to actually do the stitching--if I can remember how to do it! Your friend will love this wonderful tag--love how you added the balloons, Maria!ReplyDelete
Oh my - this is so cute Maria! The owl is so sweet with the bunch of balloons and the stitching is so even.ReplyDelete

This is so darn cute, Maria! I didn't know MFT had x-stitch products! I'm so sorry I wasn't home last night when you came by with the strawberries!! Hugs, DarnellReplyDelete
What an adorable and extra specially made tag, Maria! You have me craving strawberry shortcake now!ReplyDelete
This card is really fun and pretty. I used to do a little cross stitch but about 14 years ago, I moved in with my partner an I complained that the lighting in the house was too dim to stitch in. Silly me didn't realise that it wasn't the lighting , it was the descent towards reading glasses! boohoo.ReplyDelete
