Computer Problems...

Hi there!

I would share with you a project and cards that I have worked on lately, but my computer is out for repair. There is a problem with the hardware. My son bought new computer parts a month or so ago. We continued to have problems. The new mother board has a defect. It will take two to four weeks for repair. I do have my IPad, but it isn't the same. I don't know how to upload photos on here. But my son, the techno guy, will try to show me this weekend. Please pray for patience for him and for me while we adjust to these computer problems!:). But, I will continue to visit your blogs to see your wonderful creations! Take care, hugs!!:))

Flowers...

More flowers to plant...

Hi Friends!

Happy Saturday to you!  I could hardly wait for the weekend to arrive this week because I knew I'd be planting my flowers!  I've seen several blogs showcasing their beautiful flowers and plants.  So, I wanted to share some of what's going on around my house.  I planted two dozen geraniums today.  I have two more dozen waiting to go into pots.  I have many pots around the house that I plant them in as seen in the first photo above.  And, it is perfect weather today.  A sunny day with a light breeze.  Usually my roses aren't in bloom here in NW Ohio until the first week of June.  But, as you see they are in full bloom and are going wild.  In fact, I'll need to trim them back.  In the next couple days I want to buy a few hostas and petunias, also.  I am happy dancin' all around the house outside today, because I love planting flowers...so so pretty!  Hope all is wonderful in your world!  Thanks for dropping by today...take care, hugs!!:-))

Birthday Wishes!

Hi Friends!

Hope you had a lovely Mother's Day!  My son picked up BBQ
chicken dinner from the fire station in town.  He bought a
charm for my bracelet.  My husband bought me flowers.  And,
I joined my sisters and Mom for a Mother/daughter banquet on Saturday.  We really enjoyed ourselves with the men serving us for once!:-)  The food was delicious, and we enjoyed watching the wonderful skit done by several ladies.  The message was to appreciate the here and now.  Isn't that message so true?!  How often do our minds wander to the past of "Oh, I shouldn't have done that or have said this.  Or, ok I have to hurry and do this for tomorrow, etc.  Appreciate each other for we don't know what tomorrow brings.  Anyways, I'll take this moment to say that I appreciate my friends and family!  I thank you for taking the time to view my cards and projects here.  Truly, it's appreciated!

So, onto my card.  I was late with this entry for Tuesday Morning Sketches.  But, it's ok because I got a card made for another birthday next month.  The card is self-explanatory.
And, I had fun with the Martha Stewart butterfly punches!:-)  Take care and thanks again for dropping by today, hugs!!:-))

Birthday Wishes

How are you on this lovely Thursday evening?  I got off work
early today, which doesn't happen too often, but I didn't ask twice about it!:-)  It gave me the chance to get to my craft room and play with one of my favorite challenges, The Shabby Tea Room!  Please take a look over there and see what beautiful cards are displayed by the design team and challenge players!  The theme this week is "Pretty as a Picture."  We were to follow the inspiration photo colors and include a rose.

Here is the inspiration photo...

Happy Birthday!

Hi Again!

I'm back to share with you this card I made for a brand
new challenge over at Dynamic Duos!  I was in the mood
for a quick easy card.  I had the perfect colors of pool party and lucky limeade for this challenge.  But, one could use aqua or lime green colors if the Stampin' Up colors weren't in your collection.  I also used die cuts from a Jillibean Soup kit.  I so wanted to use the cute little owl in the kit, but the little butterfly matched the correct color for the challenge.  This card will go to my co-worker who has a birthday on the 17th this month.

Thanks for visiting here today and stop over at Dynamic Duos to check out all the fun cards from the design
team...so cute!  Take care, hugs!!:-))

Supplies:

A Mother's Love Endures

Hearts, flowers, and polka dots!

I was very inspired by the inspiration photo
and cards by the design team this week over at

Here is the inspiration photo...

Truly, a Mother's love endures, doesn't it?  Mom and
I have had disagreements and hurt feelings, but love
does endure!  I certainly feel the same way about
my son!  I tell him no matter what that I will
always love him.:-)

Anyways, I thought this was the perfect card for my Mom
for Mother's Day.  Wow, it's next weekend already.  Time
just flies by.  So, I got out my quilting needle and thread, which
I haven't used in ages.  I stamped the muslin fabric
with a lovely rose image.  Batting was inserted before quilting a heart in the center.  I stitched the entire heart to the beautiful Prima paper. The aida cloth was stamped with a tiny rose along the edges.  The sentiment was stamped on mulsin.  And, if you look close, you can see that  I stiched three little x's.  Pins, flowers, leaves, twine, and seam binding was placed to finish off the card.
Hope you are enjoying your weekend!  Thank you for visiting today!  Take care, hugs!!:-))

Create...Dream...

A fun sketch to follow for the challenge

Hi Again,

I worked in my craft room last evening and came up with the above card.  I seem to be working with more blues and greens lately for some reason.  Maybe it's all the green I see outside with everything in bloom.:-)  It's another warm day today in the 80's.  Not as warm as it was yesterday. though, and we are due for some rain.

Anyways, I got out some stamps that I haven't used in quite awhile.  I just love that bird image!  I didn't even use seam binding on the card.  Can ya believe that??!!:-)  I found some great ribbon in my stash from SU!  Sweet pearls were added for the final touch.

We plan to see a movie tonight.  My husband wants to see Avengers.  He says it's rated very well.  I'm going to check out the list to see what all is playing at the theatre.  So, bye for now!  Thanks for dropping by today. It's appreciated...take care!

Praying for You...

Hello Friends!

Just a couple of simple sympathy cards to share with you today.  I never seem to have one on hand when I need one, so I made these two cards.  The Songbird Collection from Prima is very soft and pretty.  These papers, in my opinion, are wonderful for making a sympathy card.

Here is another one using the same Prima papers...

Those little birdies are so pretty, aren't they?!

And the inside of the cards...

One more...

Hope all is well with you!   The weather turned super hot here today.  It may have already broken a record.  It's 87 here.  Whew, it's a hot one!  I may just stay in and craft to keep cool.  OK, thank you so much for dropping by today!  Take care, hugs!!:-))
