Hi, there!
I thought I'd add another card to the Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers' Blog Hop! It is a card that I've been working on with a winter scene. A cute little gnome, too! I took a copic coloring class from Mindy Baxter, My Creative Scoop. Here's Mindy's card...
And, here is my second attempt as seen below. It's not with the full scene. I did the snow drifts differently and I added Mama Elephant dies with the mountains and scallop panel. Also, I added a bow.
This is my first version...
I learned a few things with this card such as leave well enough alone. But, I just have to keep adding, lol! At times it works out and other times it doesn't. The main thing that I added were more snow drifts. I now look at my card and notice that it looks like branches coming out of the birch tree...oh boy! But, I still think it's a cute card, especially with the gnome. The gnome is a digital image from etsy that Mindy recommended to download. I drew the birch tree, mountains, and small trees in the background. I did add a coffee cup and sentiment, which is from Sugar Pea Designs.
It's a busy weekend here. We will be having friends over for dinner tomorrow to celebrate my birthday. She will bring my favorite cake...spice cake...yum! Our son is here, too, working on the bathroom putting up the trim. It will be a celebration when it all get done...yeah! :-)
Whatever you have planned for the weekend, enjoy! Thanks so much for taking the time to drop by today!
