Hi there!
Happy Sunday to you! It's the middle of May and where is the warm weather? Last week was cold and rainy, but this week should be much warmer...keeping fingers crossed!:-) Anyways, I'm anxious to see my roses bloom. In the meantime, I got out one of my favorite rose stamps and made this thank you card for a nurse practitioner who has been helping us out at work until our new one starts at the end of the month. I'm entering this card over at Seize the Sketch. And, here is my card...
I started with a white card base and added washi tape. I received the lovely washi tape from winning some blog candy from sweet Lisa Elton(My Paper Tales). She makes the most delicate sweet cards! I colored the rose with copics and added leaves. I punched the sides of the green panel and added pearls. The final touch was adding the elegant thank you sentiment.
A view of the inside of the card...
Thanks so much for dropping by today! I hope you're having a wonderful day! Take care!
Hugs,
Maria

ReplyDeleteLOVE this beautiful card, Maria! I know it was appreciated & admired! My roses actually bloomed a little early this year even though we had a severe (for us) winter. I had a pink & a red bud on the mantle next to my folks' pictures for Memorial Day.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I wished I had time to play when this sketch was up. Looked like a great one and you did a fab job!
