Thinking of you!

Hi, Friends!

Just posting some thinking of you cards that where I used the same washi tape from Altenew and same sentiment from Sunny Studio.  I send lots of thinking of you cards to family, friends, and church members, so it's always a good to build up my stash.  These cards were very easy to make.  The above card was made using a stencil from Pretty Pink Posh.  I gold embossed the sentiment and added gold dots to finish the card.  I'm entering this card over at Color Hues Challenge.

Next up,  another card where I just added a paper in the middle of the card under the sentiment.

And, for my last card, I used Avery Elle flowers colored with copics.  For the leaves, I used a punch.

Just quick and easy cards to have on hand when needed.  I just love the leaf washi tape.  I'm sure I'll be using it again.  I made a couple more thinking of you cards with some beautiful Graphic 45 paper yesterday before the big storm hit here.  I will post them another time.  We had hail, rain, and strong winds that came through.  A tornado was spotted about an hour from my sister's house.  She is fine and I believe everyone around the area is fine.  There was some damage to some houses and barns several miles south of us.  I saw on TV about TX having had loss and lots of damage.  My heart goes out to them.

Well, thanks so much for taking the time to drop by today!  Take care and have a great weekend!

Hugs!
Maria

  1. What a wonderful collection of pretty cards with all those great leaves and papers! We had wicked storms earlier today too but thankfully no damage. One house in a town not far from here was struck by lightning and the whole roof was gone! Tornado warnings are for the next county into later tonight too, so I guess this wicked weather is all over the country today! Take care and stay safe!

  2. Beautiful plus! I'm loving those leaves and going to have to check out the washi tapes. These are just gorgeous and even better when you can make them quick too. I'm always in need of quick cards. Love these!

  3. Wow, I am loving all of these Maria! Boy, washi tape has changed and is so gorgeous now. I am loving that leaf washi and you have dressed it up with other supplies. These are such cheerful "thinking of you cards"!!! I am glad the tornado didn't hit your sister home. There was one right down the road from my son's work, thankfully it didn't hit at the office. The weather has been wicked that is for sure. For my house, I only got a bit of gentle rain...by a bit I mean about 2 to 3/10's. But I'm not complaining because I don't want those tornadoes! So sad when people lose everything. TX, Canada from the fires, etc....it is all just so wild and destructive. Prayers for all. Hugs, Brenda
