CR84FN13
Hi Everyone!
There is a sweet color challenge over at CR84FN13 this week with the colors red, turqoise, and brown! Staying with the "LOVE" theme with my cards lately I decided to get out my Hero Arts and Stampin' Up "LOVE" stamps. Finding the right turqouise and red was a challenge. I decided to pop it with some bright red for the rose as a final touch. I'm still not sure if it looks quite right, but there it is as it is, my card.:-) Hope all of you are doing well. We are anxiously awaiting some blizzard weather beginning tomorrow. I think it's our turn now. We have been lucky that we escaped so many storms that have gone to the east of us. I appreciate any and all comments...thank you! Snuggy up and keep warm....hugssss!!!

The Shabby Tea Room Week #45
Hi there!
I entered the interesting challenge at http://www.shabbytearoom.blogspot.com/. The challenge was to make a card with white and/or cream plus one additional color. I did hold back and used just two colors. I am used to using more than just two colors, so it was a good challenge for me! I was shopping in Hobby Lobby and couldn't resist the nautral bamboo cream yarn for the flower. I learned how to make this certain flower from Danielle Flanders tutorial on her blog(May2010). The natural bamboo yarn looked soft and vintage to me. It was fun making it! I'll have to return and get more yarn for different colors.:-)Hope you all are having a good week! I appreciate any comments...thank you...take care!!!

Love
Hi again!
Happy weekend to you! It's Saturday, so here I am again! Yeah, I may even work on another card yet today! After my difficult challenging card(see previous post), I thought I'd try a Valentine card. I was hoping to get the effect of hearts floating in the sky. It's a very simple card. Well, I'll admit not real simple 'cause I had an accident with the blue alcohol ink. Uh huh, all over my hands. I was gonna take a pic of my hands, but I'm sure you can imagine. :-) I just love the bright colors for Valentine's Day, so I'll be making more cards! OK...thanks for taking a peek...take care!

Paper: Glossy card stock(Ranger Ink, Bazzill
Stamp: SU

Elastic thread: Mainstays
Ink: Alcohol Ink, (Ranger Ink): cranberry, stream, wild plum
The Play Date Cafe Challenge 63
Good Morning All!
Wow! Did you all think this was a challenge, huh?! Well, it certainly was for me! This combination of colors would not be in my usual craft making. After I was finished, I thought... hmmmm... maybe I should have done a Christmas theme. But, here is my card. The running water spoke to me and so I wanted to go more spring/summer. I added glossy accents to leaves on the card to make it look like rain. I found the big(ugly) green button in my stash(my button jar from a flea market)and tried to "pretty" it up with some gems. Anyways, thanks for taking a peek and I enjoy any comments! Take care and have a great day!
Supplies:
Paper: Bazzill, Flair Designs
Buttons: Stash(Flea Market), green(SU)
Gems: Darice
Stamp: Inkadinkado
Ink: Martha Stewart, SU
Punch: SU, EK
Lace, Ribbon: Jo Ann Fabric, green(BoBunny)
Silver elastic thread: Mainstays
Silver Cord: My Stash
Glossy Accents: Ranger Ink
