I'm keeping busy this week on my vacation with painting. Oh yeah...fun fun...hehehe!
I'd rather be creating in my craft room, but it will look great once it's all done. We have the living room, dining room, hall way, and kitchen to paint. And, the dog stepped in the paint tray only once so far...lol! The hazards of having a pet, I guess. And, he did it right after I took these pics. I guess he wanted his pic taken, too. I should have taken a pic of his painted paw, but we were frantic with the mishap needless to say!
Don't let the smiles on our faces fool ya. We really aren't that happy...hehehe! But, believe me we will be all smiles when it's all done!
Here is a pic of our front door that my son and hubby stained a couple months ago...
Well, that's all for now. Sorry no cards or projects from me and I might not be around to your blogs for a bit. But, I'll be back in action again soon! Take care!
It will all be worth it shortly!ReplyDelete
Please come to my house when you are finished. My whole upstairs is ready for a new paint job, actually a new color.ReplyDelete
I had to laugh when you said to not let the smiles fool us because you weren't that happy. I can imagine. But, I bet the dog was. HAhAHA
Your door looks beautiful.
OMGosh, no, painting is never fun... way too much hard work for that. But what a fabulous accomplishment, and you will definitely love it when it's all said and done!ReplyDelete
Lovely photos ... what a way to spend you vacation but I'm sure it will be worth it ... Have fun!ReplyDelete
It's amazing how much work painting is... but it will all be worth it, as you said. :o) Such lovely photos and your door is incredibly beautiful. I hope your furbaby stops trying to help you paint. ;) Have a wonderful weekend, Maria!ReplyDelete

Have fun!!! And take care of your backs! heeheeReplyDelete
That is a lot of work, but it's always fun to have a project where you can see the results immediately! Nothing like fresh paint--makes such a difference I think. Love the front door!ReplyDelete
Have fun getting your painting done, pics when completed I hope.ReplyDelete
I do most of the painting in our home and it's getting harder as I get older but I do love it! Never had the dog walk in the paint pan yet.. oh no!ReplyDelete
Love the door!
