Hi, Friends!
Just popping in to share with you a couple cards. First up, I made a card for a friend who recently moved into a new home. All stamps and dies are from Paper Sweeties. I'm entering this card over at Simon Says,
The weather has turned into a wonderful warm weekend! It's a bit windy, but I'll take it! The weeping cherry tree has gorgeous blooms on it. The daffodils are nearly done, but tulips will bloom soon. Even our dog, Sheila, loves the warm weather. She plops down on the grass and doesn't want to move, lol!
We had two big celebrations at church today. One was for a sweet lady who turned 100. And, believe me, she doesn't look or act like 100!
Here is the card that I made for her...
Please forgive the quality of the photo for I took it quick with my phone. There isn't any blue on the card, but it shows blue on here. The cake image is from Paper Sweeties and the numbers are from TE.
The other celebration was a pig roast for our first responders in town, police, sheriff, EMS. How awesome to celebrate these wonderful people! They work very hard to keep our town safe!
Ok, I'll get back to crafting. I made a grad card and a thinking of you card today. And, this weekend I'm looking forward to crafting with some friends! Take care and have a wonderful week!
What a sweet and wonderful new home card Maria, the recipients will love it. A lovely card for your centenarian. How wonderful that your 100 year old lady is so active, seems for some, old age doesn't mean anything, my eldest brother 86, helped my 79 year old hubby move a ton of stones last week, with no effort. I am so impressed your town did a roast for your responders, what a wonderful community you all are.

Adorable new home card with the sweetest of scene x. How fabulous to 'celebrate' your first responders Maria x. Enjoy the warmer weather and what a thoughtful and pretty card for the young at heart 100 year old x.
ReplyDeleteA charming new home card that they will love. What a milestone at 100 and wonderful that she is still so well. I miss the pig roasts we used to have at the lake and the smell of it. That is such a generous thing to do for the first responders. They are so valuable.
ReplyDeleteThe new home card is just as cute as can be, and so is the birthday card for that sweet young lady celebrating 100 yrs on this planet! Wow! Sounds like the pig roast was fun for everyone and I'm patiently waiting for that warmer weather after just having a teaser of warm weather yesterday! It turned chilly again today! LOL
