Happy Easter!

Hi, Friends!

I'd like to share with you an Easter card that I made using the new postage Easter stamps from Waffle Flower.  It was so easy to make this card!  I used distress ink for the background and stamped the images in black.  I then added Wink of Stella on the images for interest.  The orange background of the base was made using paper from Sunny Studios.  A few gems to finish the card.

Next up...

My chocolate crocheted bunny that I made using the wheat stitch pattern from Briana K.  I watched her You tube video for the head and ears.  But, I do suggest to buy the pattern for the body.  I thought I could do it without the pattern, but nope, lol!  I made the body bigger and rounder and one ear isn't perfect, but for my first bunny I am happy with the result.

Here is a view of her back end with her bunny tail...

I have one more crochet project to share with you...

I used the shell stitch with this afghan.  It's difficult to tell by the photo, but the color is light blue.  This baby afghan will be sent to a nephew.  He and his wife will welcome a new baby boy in May!

Ok, my friends that's all for today.  This ole gal is excited to get her new glasses today.  I've really noticed that it's difficult to see near and far, so a new pair of glasses will be great!

Take care and thanks so much for taking the time to drop by today!

Hugs!

Happy Birthday!

Hi, Friends!

My husband had a milestone birthday last week.  I made the above card using an image from MFT.  The banner is from MFT, also.  I struggled a bit with this card.  I added gems because I felt it needed something.  The design is a bit off to me, but my hubby liked it and appreciated it.

We celebrated his birthday by going to Amish Country in Berlin, Ohio.  Our son met up with us on Saturday and we had fun shopping and going to dinner.  Last Thursday, we celebrated with a friend, Angie.  Her birthday is only two days after my husband's birthday.  I made a carrot cake with cream cheese frosting, so yummy!  We had fun visiting and playing cards with Ted and Angie!

Here are some photos during our stay in Berlin...

We had a nice relaxing weekend away in Amish Country(Berlin, Ohio).  A beautiful peaceful town with delicious food, crafts, and lovely scenery!

And, I'd be remiss if I didn't wish you all a Happy St. Patrick's Day!  I made cabbage and noodles for my Irish hubby.  We will enjoy red raspberry pie for dessert that we picked up at an Amish bakery.  It is my hubby's favorite!

Ok, friends, that's all for now.  I'll be back soon to show you my chocolate crocheted Easter bunny and baby afghan.  I completed the bunny.  I'm still working on on the afghan.

Thanks so much for taking the time to drop by!  Take care and have a great week!

Happy Easter!

Hi, Friends!

I'd like to share a couple Easter cards with you today.  I recently purchased the adorable bunny, basket, eggs, and flowers from Poppy Stamps.  Behind the basket, I used the Eyelet Diamonds die from Pretty Pink Posh.  The grass was made using a MFT die.  The images were colored with copics and a bow added to finish the card.  I'm entering this card over at NBUS Challenge.

Next up,

I used several distress inks with this card and made an egg wreath.  The eggs were made using a die from Paper Sweeties(retired).  The leaves were made using a punch.  The sentiment was embossed in gold using a stamp from SU.  The pretty gold dots are from SU, also.  A gold bow to finish the card.

Thanks so much for taking the time to drop by today!  I hope you have an awesome day, take care!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Hi, Friends!

I'd like to share with you two more St. Patrick's Day cards.  For the above card, I personalized it with an image similar to my sister's dog(the best image I could find), Lola.  You may have to look closely, but I put Lola's name on the collar.  My sister's dog is super sweet, a Wheaton Terrier.  The gold rainbow die was made using a die from Spellbinder's.  The image from Pretty Pink Posh was colored with copics.  The shamrocks were made using a die from Pretty Pink Posh.  The sun was made using a die from Spellbinder's and a punch.  The grass die is from MFT.

Next up...

A very simple card using a panel from Doodlebug.  The background was made using a die from Emily Moore Designs.  Gold gems to finish the card.  I think I'm done making St. Patrick's Day cards.  I always enjoy making them.  I love the bright green and orange colors.  And, the cute images!

Ok, that's all for now.  Thanks so much for taking the time to drop by today!  Take care, hugs!!

You're in luck!

Hi, Friends!

Popping in to share with you a card I made for a friend.  The background was made using distress inks using the "smoosh" technique.  I used gold ink spray for interest.  The gold rainbow and clouds were made using dies from Spellbinder's.  The cute critter images from Pretty Pink Posh were colored with copics.

It's hard to believe that it's March.  It's a sunny day here and I'm enjoying it for we will get rain in a couple days.  I'm sure we could use more rain for we had a drought last year.

Not much happening around here.  I started a new crochet project of making a bunny.  I'm still working on a baby afghan for my husband's nephew and his wife who will welcome a new baby boy in May.

Ok, that's all for now.  I hope you are having a wonderful weekend!  Thanks so much for dropping by!
Take care, hugs!

Lucky!

Hi, friends!

I started on a few St. Patrick's Day cards.  I colored the sweet gnome from Sugar Pea(retired) to send this card to a friend.  The frame is from PTI.  The shamrocks and sentiment are from Waffle Flower.

Well, I was hoping we wouldn't have any more snow for the season.  All the previous snow was gone and the snow came again today.  We didn't get much at all.  I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for an early spring.

The photo seen below is from when we were on our way down to visit our son.  They got more snow than us at the time nearly a month ago.  They got about 8 inches while we got about 5 inches.  Anyways, I took the lovey sunset photo, which looked so peaceful.

Ok, friends, that's all for now.  I thank you for dropping by and may you have a great week, take care!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Hi, there!

Happy Valentine's Day!  Only two days away for the special love day!  I got all the Valentine cards out and now it's on to Easter cards.  I have several to share with you today.  I made several of the same design, but with different design paper for the cards seen above.  I used SSS heart die.  The bow die is from The Greetery.  A paper doily behind the heart.  The sentiment is from PPP.  I'm entering these cards over at Love Those Pretty Papers Challenge.

Next up,

I made a sweet scene for this card with two darling cats.  I sent this to a friend who has an orange/white cat and a gray cat.  They are named Miss Kitty and Jake.  The images are from MFT.  The scalloped panel was die cut using a die from The Greetery.  The sentiment is from PPP.

Ok, friends, I hope you have a wonderful lovely Valentine's Day!  Thanks so much for dropping by, take care!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Hello, Friends!

I wanted to post this Valentine card before sending it out to a friend.  More Lawn Fawn cute mice on this one!  The background was made using a die from Sunny studio.

I had a very busy weekend to a wedding.  And, the last few days I was away on a craft retreat.  It was just here in town, but a fun time getting together with friends!  I packed up all my craft supplies and made a pot of chili before leaving for the weekend to our son's.  It was a good break to stop at his house Friday night.  We then travelled two more hours to southern Ohio to the wedding.  We were happy to see that the weather cooperated.  I feel like I'm behind in things, but I'll get caught up here soon.  We got to the store today for more bad weather is on the way.  It may start out as ice and then turn to snow.  I'm hoping that the weatherman is right is saying only 1-3 inches of snow.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

Coco thought she could go to the craft retreat with me!

Ok, friends.  That's all for now.  Thanks so much for dropping by, take care!

Happy Birthday!

Hello Friends!

I'd like to share with you a card that I made for a friend's birthday!  I used Altenew stamp, die, and stencil to make this card.  I used distress inks for the flowers and leaves.  The stencil was so easy to use to color the pretty flower image!  The sentiment was made using stamps and dies from Honey Bee.  Gems to finish the card.

I believe a lot of the country is anticipating a winter storm for this weekend.  We are to get at least 6 inches of snow.  It may be even more than that by the time it ends.  The temps are very cold.  Right now it is 7 degrees.  My one sis had the right idea of going to Florida for the winter.

Anyways, if you are in the path of the winter storm, please keep warm and safe!

Thanks so much for dropping by today, take care!

Hugs!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Hi, Friends!

It's time to start Valentine cards!  My first Valentine was made using the adorable mice set from Lawn Fawn.  Such cute images that I colored with copics.  The postage die is from Newton's Nook.  It was very easy to put together!  I'm entering this card over at Word Art Wednesday.

I'm working on Valentines and birthday cards for February.  It's great to work inside when it's windy and snowing outside.  We did manage to get to out and ran errands before most of the snow began.  We are due to get 2-4 inches.

I have a few more crochet projects to share that have kept me busy, too.

Ok, my friends, that's all for now.  I hope you are having a great day!  Thanks so much for taking the time to drop by today, take care!

Happy New Year!

Hi, Friends!

Happy New Year!  I'm wishing for you a blessed happy healthy new year!

I couldn't resist purchasing the new Spellbinder's Good Fortune Horse to send out a few cards to friends and family!  I looked at some awesome inspiration over at Spellbinders from Michelle Short and another person(sorry not sure who made the black background card). The embossed background was made using an EF from Simon Says and the arch die was made using a die from Pink Fresh Studio. Anyways, I had a lot of fun making the cards!  I'm entering the first card over at Lunar New Year Challenge.

Second card...

Edit:

I decided to redo part of the above card.  It looks much better!

I almost didn't post this card due to the gold ink spray that went crazy.  Ah, mishaps in crafting.  So, I tried to make it seem less worse by adding more gold gems.  Or, I guess I could say that they are actually fireworks going off behind the horse?!  Anyways, things happen, right?

Ok, friends, that's all for now.  Take care and have a wonderful rest of the week!  Thanks so much for dropping by today!

Hugs!
