Love

Hi again!

Happy weekend to you! It's Saturday, so here I am again! Yeah, I may even work on another card yet today! After my difficult challenging card(see previous post), I thought I'd try a Valentine card. I was hoping to get the effect of hearts floating in the sky. It's a very simple card. Well, I'll admit not real simple 'cause I had an accident with the blue alcohol ink. Uh huh, all over my hands. I was gonna take a pic of my hands, but I'm sure you can imagine. :-) I just love the bright colors for Valentine's Day, so I'll be making more cards! OK...thanks for taking a peek...take care!
Supplies:
Paper: Glossy card stock(Ranger Ink, Bazzill
Stamp: SU
Button: SU
Elastic thread: Mainstays
Ink: Alcohol Ink, (Ranger Ink): cranberry, stream, wild plum

The Play Date Cafe Challenge 63

Good Morning All!

Wow! Did you all think this was a challenge, huh?! Well, it certainly was for me! This combination of colors would not be in my usual craft making. After I was finished, I thought... hmmmm... maybe I should have done a Christmas theme. But, here is my card. The running water spoke to me and so I wanted to go more spring/summer. I added glossy accents to leaves on the card to make it look like rain. I found the big(ugly) green button in my stash(my button jar from a flea market)and tried to "pretty" it up with some gems. Anyways, thanks for taking a peek and I enjoy any comments! Take care and have a great day!

The Play Date Challenge Cafe #62

Hi there!

I'm back!!! It feels so good to get back to making some cards!!! I was busy with Christmas festivities and that bad four letter word...WORK...hehehe! Anyways, I certainly hope you all had a wonderful holiday! We had a great holiday here. When my gravy turns out well, it's a success! It was great family fun with blessed memories. OK, now to my card. I just love the colors of this PDCC#62. I went with a romantic feel. I have to admit I struggled with the top left corner. I kept wanting to add something there. What do you think? I have to learn at times that less is more. Well, thank you for taking a peek and I appreciate any comments. Take care and have a Happy healthy New Year!
