Halloween Blog Hop...Day 2 of 3!!!

Today I'd like to share with you an altered hand lotion bottle...

 
I just couldn't put this lovely green bottle in the recycle bin.  I knew I'd turn it into a craft project....a spooky one?!  Ah, yes...a little spooky!  It was very easy to use Martha Stewart paper with potion bottles that went perfectly with the bottle.  The die label is from SU.  The skull and crow are stickers from K&Company.  The lace is from Martha Stewart.  And, the ribbon is from Paper Sweeties(licorice).  Super easy, but another Halloween project done.  I hope you are enjoying the Halloween Blog Hop so far!  And, for more inspiration, please visit the talented ladies in the following blog list...

    Oooh... love it! I've been thinking about different ways to use bottles and jars in my projects... so many ideas but nothing has come to fruition yet... love this one... very cool!

    Maria, this is such a fabulous transformation! Indeed this bottle was too lovely to dispose of... I'm glad you let your crafty heart get to it! :o) The trims are gorgeous and the spooky detailing looks spectacular against the green! Wonderfully done, my friend!     I would have hated to toss that bottle away too, but would not have come up with a spooky-fabulous idea like this! The eerie green color is just perfect with that potion paper!

    Always ask my son if he wants wine bottles and other colored bottles but never thought to use them for myself...very economical and doesn't need much to embellish...very nice idea.

    It's a good thing you didn't throw this away. It is an awesome project for Halloween. I love the doily, lace and ribbon. The stickers are perfect on the bottle. Great job.
