The Shabby Tea Room Week #45

Hi there!

I entered the interesting challenge at http://www.shabbytearoom.blogspot.com/. The challenge was to make a card with white and/or cream plus one additional color. I did hold back and used just two colors. I am used to using more than just two colors, so it was a good challenge for me! I was shopping in Hobby Lobby and couldn't resist the nautral bamboo cream yarn for the flower. I learned how to make this certain flower from Danielle Flanders tutorial on her blog(May2010). The natural bamboo yarn looked soft and vintage to me. It was fun making it! I'll have to return and get more yarn for different colors.:-)Hope you all are having a good week! I was thinkin' ahhh... ohhhh...so lovely these colors this week at PDCC, don't ya think?! I was thinkin' luxury with this one, so I got out some luxury paper. I just had to enter this challenge at Color Throwdown because of one of our "Stamping Sisters", Katie Renz. These cards will go to Katie who has been diagnosed with gastric cancer. The Shabby Tea Room #43

This is a card for the challenge at http://www.theshabbytearoom.blogspot.com/. The challenge is to have eleven elements on your card. My elements are cardstock, patterned paper, buttons, layers, pearls, brads, felt heart, chipboard, twine, and sequins, and ribbon. I kept counting and adding more and more...yesss...I have eleven! And I think the card weighs a ton!:-) But, I loved doing it and adding elements...so fun! It was a great challenge, so I thank you Shabby Tea Room!!! Thanks for looking and taking a peek.
