Dies R Us Challenge-December 1, 2018-Snowflakes!

Hi, Friends!

I'm here to share with you my card for the Dies R Us Challenge!  The theme is (Snowflakes)!  Come join in on the fun and have a chance to win a gift certificate!  Enjoy creating!

I decided to have the gorgeous snowflake die be center stage!  I  tried the technique with the micro fine glitter and adhesive paper.  I have a few more lovely dies that I want to use with this technique, also.  It was a bit tricky getting the adhesive paper lined up on the back of the die, but once that was done it was easy peasy!

And, here is my card...

For my card, I used Lawn Fawn dies, which are listed below.  The snowflake die is from Frantic Stamper.  Green ribbon and a red gem to finish the card.

All dies that were used for my card with links are listed below.  I hope you create a project using dies and join us for the challenge!

There are so many choices at Dies R Us store!  Hope you check out the store for  amazing selection of dies, stamps, papers, inks, etc.!  I'd love to see your project in the challenge...happy creating!

Would you like more inspiration?  Check out some amazing creations from my talented teammates!

Merry Christmas!

Hi, Friends!

It's another cold cloudy day!  We haven't seen the sun for many days for this month of November.  We are due for a little snow tomorrow.  But, we can't complain for we haven't had much snow yet this year.  It has gone north or east of us.  The weather will be much warmer in the 50's for the weekend.  We have a wedding to attend, but maybe hubby will put up the Christmas lights outside.  It has been backwards this year with my decorating for Christmas.  Usually I put the tree up first, but I have the house decorated and the tree isn't up yet.  Hubby plans to set the tree up tonight and I will decorate tonight and tomorrow. I love sitting in the dark with a lit Christmas tree.  It really sets the mood for Christmas!  Please keep that warm thought in mind while you view my card for my son!:-)

I've been working on Christmas cards and had this stamp set from last year, which I didn't use yet.  There are so many wonderful stamp sets to [play with and there is never enough time to use them all!  Anyways, this stamp set I bought with my son in mind.  He has a good sense of humor and always buys us snarky cards, so I thought he deserved one in return, ha!  I'm entering this card over at Simon Says.

And, here is my card...

For my card, I started with a white card base and paired it with a stenciled panel.  The stencil is from MFT.  The distress inks that I used are Broken China and Seedless Preserves.  The deer and sentiment are from Lil' Inker.  The trees are from Mama Elephant.  Wink of Stella was applied for interest.  And, twine to finish the card.

Here is the inside of the card...

Now I feel a bit guilty making this card for my son.  You think I need to make him a nice one?  Ok, I just might, ha!

Well, I plan to make some gift certificate holders before doing a few other things today.  Thanks so much for dropping by!  Take care!

     Hugs!

Happy Birthday!

Hi, there!

It's been a little over a week since I've posted.  I've been pretty busy with my 60th birthday celebration and Thanksgiving festivities.  I hope you had a wonderful blessed Thanksgiving with your family!

I've been working on December birthday cards for friends and family.  And, today I'm sharing with you the one that I made for my sister's birthday.  I'm entering this card over at Fusion Card Challenge.

I started with a white card base and paired it with MME paper, which was die cut using a Mama Elephant die.  The poinsettia die is from MFT.  The sentiment is from Clearly Besotted.  Gems and ribbon to finish the card.

I thought I'd add just a couple of photos of my birthday celebration with my sisters.  My birthday weekend a couple weeks ago was spent in Amish Country...Berlin, Ohio with my hubby.  We had a great time shopping and eating delicious food.  And, so last weekend my sister, Donna, hosted a party at her house.  Lots of fun and a wonderful time with my four sisters.

Thanks so much for dropping by today!  Take care and
have a wonderful weekend!
Hugs!
