PDCC#82-Friends

A closer view of card
The lovely soft color inspiration photo

Hello!

Well, I am finally posting this card for the PDCC#82.  I spent all evening trying different things on this card.  I nearly gave up and trashed it!  Whew, I thought OK, let's try one more time.  I just had a difficult time incorporating the light blue for some reason.  I added my aqua copic marker to the middle of the flowers, distress ink(broken china and antique linen) to the frame, and blue gems.  Also, I added antique linen distress ink to soften up the blue paper.  So, I'm glad I didn't end up trashing this card.  The soft colors for this challenge are just too beautiful to resist for a shabby card!  Time for lunch here and to enjoy some lovely sunny skies!  Take care and enjoy your weekend!  Thanks for visiting!

  3. That's really soft and pretty, Maria! I love that frame, and how you put a tiny chair inside of it. And the punched trim / crochet trim along the sides of the card were a really beautiful accent. THanks for playing with us at THe Cafe (and thanks for leaving some love at my blog, too!).
