Hi there!
Happy Friday to you! It's a long weekend with Labor Day on Monday. The official end to summer...sigh. We had a good summer with cool temps...beautiful weather. We are in dire need of rain, though. Maybe we will get some soon. Whatever you have planned for Labor Day, I hope it's a great one!
I made the above card for my brother-in-law. I tried my hand at water coloring again. I looked and looked for my water brush, but I could not find it. I have another one on order, so I'll be practicing once again!:-) It's a simple masculine card. I felt like it needed something more, but for interest I lifted up the edges on top and bottom. I used reinkers from MFT...blue raspberry, berrylicious, and sour apple. The water color paper is from Tim Holtz. The stamps and paper are from SU. And, the metal dots are from K&Company.
Well, that's all for now. Thank you for taking the time to visit here today! Take care!
Hugs,
Maria

ReplyDeletePretty card, Maria. Love the soft coloring effect.
ReplyDeleteI love your watercoloring, Maria, and what a fabulous masculine card design. The textured edges really add a great detail here. Love how you did the sentiment off on the side, and balanced the other side with the matching dots.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful masculine design, Maria....I looove your watercolored background...it looks fabulous!!!!
ReplyDeleteMaria, this is an awesome, masculine card. Great watercoloring. I decide recently to pick up the water color brush, too...been a long time.
ReplyDeleteA gorgeous creation!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is stunning, Maria! I really love how you did the coloring without it all being connected & the brass embellishments & raised up edges are just right!
