Hi, Friends!
I just wanted to share with you an Easter project that I made recently. One wouldn't think it was Easter looking out my window. We finally got some snow. It will probably only be a couple of inches. I think the average is about 29" and we've only gotten about 12" total this year. But, that's ok with me!:-)
Anyways, I know it's a little early for Easter, but we crafters work ahead on things. And, I thought the colors fit for the challenge going on right now at Paper Sweeties! You have until the end of the month to enter! The winner will receive a $20 gift certificate and be invited to be guest designer! Come on over and join the fun!
I started with an oval shaped block of wood from Michael's and painted it pink. It was then covered with polka dot paper. Sophie was colored with copics and I added some whiskers. Her outfit, carrot, and basket is from the set Bunny Hugs and Kisses and the sentiment is from the set Jelly Bean Time. The die cuts used are Sweet Cuts-Home Tweet Home(fence) and Sweet Cuts-Be Happy(banner). The seam binding ribbon (Frosting) is from Paper Sweeties, also.
Thanks so much for dropping by and taking a peek at my Easter project! Take care and have a wonderful day!
Hugs,
Maria

ReplyDeleteOh, I wish we had snow :(. We were predicted to get 24" this winter, and I think we've had a grand total of maybe 3". So sad, but I'm still enjoying the warmer weather. It's been beautiful, and so much easier to get the kids out of the house. Yay!
