Hi, Friends!
Just popping in quick to share with you a card I made using some new PTI (Kay Miller)goodies! Aren't those images so cute?! I could hardly wait to play with them! I finally had some time this afternoon to ink them up! I thank you all for the get well wishes for my son. I appreciate it! He is healing well. He had toe tendon surgery on his right foot last Tuesday. We stayed most of the week with him last week. I sure wish he lived closer. He is 2 1/2 hr. away. But, it's not like he's clear across the country!:-)
Anyways, I started my card by making the sky using Tim Holtz distress inks, which were stormy sky and dusty concord. All the stamps are from PTI. The fence die is from MFT. The dots are from Doodlebug. I'm playing along with Darnell's NBUS Challenge!
Well, we are staining the deck this week, so I better stop playing around and get out to helping my hubby! But, it was great to play and create today! Thanks so much for dropping by! Take care!
Hugs,
Maria

Summer...
Hi, Friends!
Happy Sunday to you! I hope all is well in your world today. Just popping in quick to share with you a card I made recently. I won't be crafting or posting for the next several days due to helping my son after his surgery. He'll be hobbling around for awhile. I wish I could take the pain for him, but he'll get better soon. Anyways, by Tuesday afternoon I'll be saying is it 5 o'clock yet...lol! Nawww...really I'll probably be drinking coffee...strong coffee!:-)
For my card, I started with a pink card base and paired it with K&Company paper. I water colored the background and little Sophie. Her outfit and sand dollars are from the stamp set At the Beach. The palm tree is from Island Time. The dies that were used are Sweet Cuts-Sophie, Sweet Cuts-Island Time, Sweet Cuts-Let's go to the Beach(waves), and Sweet Cuts-Sweet Borders And, the drink and sentiment is from the set Planner Series: Summer Sentiments. Sequins(Gold) and twine(cookie dough) to finish the card.
Well, that's all for now. Take care and thanks so much for dropping by! Have a great week!
Hugs,
Maria

Paper Sweeties August 2016 Release Rewind!
Hi, there!
Today wraps up the August Paper Sweeties Release with today's Release Rewind! I hope you've enjoyed seeing all the inspiration! New stamps/dies are combined with previously released stamps/dies for our projects today.
I made another shaker card, but today the top window displays pretty Tuti Fruiti sequins. I merely placed foam mounting tape below the sequins to prevent them from falling. And, I placed a few sequins in the doorway for interest. The house was made using the *new* stamp sets Window and Window Add-on: Elements. The coordinating dies are Sweet Cuts-Window and Sweet-Cuts-Window Add-on: Elements. The bird is from the set Home Tweet Home, The fence, trees, and sentiments are from the set Home Sweet Home. The banner was die cut using Sweet Cuts-Be Happy.
Please stop by my talented teammate blogs to see what they created...have fun!
