Happy Valentine's Day!

Hi, there!

I hope your Tuesday is going well!  I'm popping in here to share with you a couple cards I made for Valentine's Day.  Wow, it's next week already!  I'm entering the above card over at Simon Says Stamp and Word Art Wednesday

I wasn't sure when I'd see my son, so I mailed him the above Valentine card.  He was so sweet and brought it up when he was visiting us this past weekend and opened it.  He then asked me what to do with all the cards that I send him...lol!  So, we agreed that he would display them for awhile and then bring them back to me.  I'm not sure what I'll do with them.  Maybe I'll store them in an album.  So, friends...what do you do with the handmade cards that you receive?

Anyways, the card was made with SSS, MFT, and Mama Elephant stamps/dies.

Next up, is a card that I made for a friend.  And, here is the card...

The heart die was made from a Reverse Confetti die.  The Hero Arts sentiment was embossed with silver embossing powder onto vellum.  Twine and heart stickers to complete the card.

I might be back with a couple other Valentine cards to share.  I hope you're having a great time with your Valentine projects!

Thanks so much for taking the time to drop by today!  It's appreciated!  Take care!

Hugs,
Maria

  9. Maria, my sweet friend, this is a ray of heartfelt sunshine. The layering is beautiful and I adore the abundance of hearts. There's nothing sweeter than sending someone love and this does that to perfection. I'm sure he treasures it! You have a precious gift and use your talent so beautifully. Thank you for the inspiration, my friend. I will be back soon to leave you love on your previous posts.. things have not gone as planned, but my heart is hopeful.

I keep every card sent to me! I leave several out for sweet inspirations for my heart. Since space is a bit limited, I rotate them and tuck them away in a pretty storage box. :) Have a wonderful day, Maria!

    Hugs and blessings,
    Karen

  10. Love your Valentines, Maria! Perfect one for your son--classic & pretty! I've kept all the handmade cards sent to me. I usually keep them on display until there's no more room. Just took down Christmas ones to make room for BD & Valentines. My local friends give the cards back to me after a few months for my "portfollio"--haha!

  11. Love these! They are so sweet with all the hearts, and I adore that touch of vellum! ❤️
I try to keep all of the handmade cards I receive, but haven't figured out a really great system for them yet. The seasonal ones I tend to keep in my tubs of decorations, and bring them out for each holiday. 😆
