Under the sea...

Hi, there!

Just popping in quick to share with you a card I made a couple weeks ago for my friend's grandson.  Her son and daughter-in-law adopted a sweet little boy named Cohen.  The theme of the party was fish.  I should of snapped a pic of the little sweetie, but didn't think about it until after the fact.  I'm entering my card over at City Crafter Challenge.  And, here is my card...

For my card, I started with a light blue card base.  The sky was inked with distress ink for the sky.  The sun and fish stamps are from Paper Sweeties.  The boat is from Lawn Fawn.  The waves were made using a punch.  The letters to spell out Cohen are from Elizabeth Craft Designs.  Twine and dots to finish the card.

It's a perfect day here in the 70's.  So, I washed a few windows.  There's always work to be done, but I better not push it too much for my right neck and upper shoulder are bothering me once again.  I'm not really sure as to why, but did have this problem a couple years ago.  I think I just strained it again somehow.  Oh, well...housework can wait...slow but sure wins the race.

Anyways, I hope you all are having a great day.  I thank you so much for coming to my blog with your sweet comments of support.  It's very much appreciated!  Take good care!

Hugs,
Maria

  8. Omgosh, what a precious and adorable card, Maria! I love anything nautical to begin with, and this design is just sooooo sweet! Fabulous sky background and cool waves, and I adore those googly eyes on the fish! Absolutely love the way you layered the letters, too. Totally makes them pop!
Sorry to hear about your relapse. I have problems with my neck, too, and it doesn't seem to take anything at all to set it off. Hope you feel better soon!
