For my Christmas card, I started with a red card base and paired it with stripe paper from Carta Bella. The background was water colored using the tree from the set. I made a stencil and water colored with zig markers. The truck was water colored, also, and popped up for dimension. Nuvo glitter drops were applied for interest. Twine to finish the card.
Next up, Christmas tags...
I used the same set as I used for the card. The trees were water colored using zig markers. The embossed Christmas bulbs are from the set Planner Series: Happy Holidays. Nuvo red glitter drops for interest on the trees. Green apple ribbon from Paper Sweeties, twine, and bells to finish the tags.

We also have a new stamp set with a truck and tree image!
Oh, how fun it would be to create with the old fashioned truck! And,
so many possibilities to tuck an image in the back of the truck! It's
time for tree decorating and fun festivities! When we were first married,
we bought real trees. The smell of a pine tree was so wonderful! We
didn't haul it in the back of a truck. We had a red Chevette! Oh, such
memories with that first car!

They're lovely!! I like how you water coloured to give everything such a bold and arty look... Have a wonderful week Maria!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it wonderful to have those fun memories. I love how you decorated your trees and your tags are so pretty.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful whimsical card and tag set, Maria!
ReplyDeleteFun card with the truck, Maria! I loved cutting down our tree, but those days are gone--haha! Last year I finally gave in & got an artificial tree & now I can't believe it took me so long! Love not dealing with water & needles dropping. Your tags are so special with all the elements at the top!
ReplyDeleteYOU were on a roll! LOVE them all and your coloring and shading is FANTASTIC!
ReplyDeleteI love that truck, such fun design!
